Here are the best products that I learned about from my friends’ visit this week. Cindy, Annie, Kris (Driven By Decor) and I decided to get together to “talk blogging” (and to have a nice time in person). I suggested that they come to our new home in Florida and they readily agreed.
Well, we did have a lot of laughs in between discussions about social media trends in our pajamas. But I also got some great ideas about products they love. So, I wanted to share theirs and mine with you!

Heavenly Scents
The girls remarked how fresh our home smelled when we got back from a walk on the beach. Coming in from the back door, where we drop off our shoes, is the powder room with the great smelling French hostess gifts that Annie gave me:
Diptyque Softening Hand Soap and Velvet Lotion Very luxe. I use their perfume too.
And I also have a Pura Smart Diffuser in the stairwell set to come on in the morning and evening.
Right now I am using a lovely scent in the diffuser called Linens & Surf.
Cute Pajamas From My Friends
We did a lot of lounging in our pajamas over coffee. Which I frankly encouraged. Both Cindy and Annie were wearing pajamas from Quince. Annie had on the washed silk pants and tank in navy (and I love the matching washable silk robe that my sister gave me).
Cindy had on the European Linen Long Sleeve Pajama Set in blue pinstripe. I put fresh Turkish waffle weave robes (in large) in their rooms to use if they wanted.
I wore comfortable Garnet Hill Organic Cotton cropped pajamas.
Great Gadgets On Amazon
I was reading “The 25 Amazon Kitchen Gadgets I Wouldn’t Want to Be Without” by Kris and immediately ordered the jar opener (to help with arthritis in my hands) and the chicken shredder (good for soups and such). They arrived while she was still here.
Kris is great at organizing, remodeling and Amazon finds. When Annie, Cindy or I can’t figure out something technical, we always say “Let’s ask Kris!” She’s so smart.
Recommended Health And Beauty Products
I got lots of great recommendations for protein powders from readers last week in the comments (which I am considering–thank you). Cindy really likes putting vital Proteins in her coffee so I ordered that. Also, I have been using B-Glossy for crepy skin on my neck and upper arms. It’s sort of expensive but I DO notice a difference.
Party Favor Ideas
I gave the girls the gifts above (a tech cord organizer for travel and note pad) as a thank you for coming all the way from California, Connecticut and North Carolina.
What To Wear Out To Dinner In Florida In April
Atlantic Beach is very casual but this was our “dressier” night when we went out to dinner.
Music Playlist
While we were working, we had my son-in-law, Luca’s playlist (Apple Music) or (Spotify) on in the background.
