We have some fun today! My daughter and I, along with four other mothers and daughters (and a granddaughter), will be showing you some of our favorite styles together. We all have our own “lewks!” 🙂
Mother-Daughter Fashion Edit
Here’s who is in our Fashion Show and I will link to them again at the end of the post. Janine Happy Happy Nester, Annie Most Lovely Things, Melaine My Sweet Savannah, and Cindy Rough Luxe.
Alexandra Louise Pickett
As our firstborn. Alie has enriched our lives since the day she made us a family. She has a brilliant mind (was an A+ student, an economics major, and speaks fluent French). She also has an expressive face and an easy smile. She has a wonderful boyfriend, a sweet new puppy, and amazing friends.
My baby girl is a great entertainer and an awesome organizer (she actually thinks it’s fun). Alie is a Girl Boss as a marketing executive for national brands in Los Angeles. Oh, and she also LOVES genuine compliments…so this is probably bringing out that big smile.
I’ve shown you her L. A, apartment before. I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like so we had to plan for our little photoshoot last month.
Silk Outfits
Here we are at her friend, Jackie’s new house that I’m helping to decorate. Our puppies don’t look too thrilled!
Alie: Zara Two-Piece Silk Shorts Outfit (sold out, but here’s a link to Shop Bop and all of their two-piece sets)
Le Spec Sunglasses.
Mary Ann: I bought the silk embroidered tunic in Mumbai. But here is a similar one. The white jeans are a few years old by Paige. Kate Spade sunglasses. Comfortable Cole Haan sandals.
Maxi/Midi Skirt and Dress
Mother-Daughter Denim and Booties
Alie: Yumi Kim Top • Levi’s Jeans • Booties
Mary Ann: Plaid button-down sold out (similar) • Belt • Jeans • Booties • Kate Spade sunglasses
Summer Dresses
Cheers! It’s wonderful when your daughter also becomes your adult friend!
Mary Ann: Free People Midi/Maxi dress
Alie: 1970’s Vintage Dress • Booties
Alie has found great vintage clothing shops all around the world from wherever she travels. I keep telling her she should have a blog about them.
And that’s Our Mother-Daughter Fashion Edit! Go see the rest of the Fashion Show!
