White summer outfits look chic on basically everyone and especially on women over 50. Today I am joining some stylish friends, Annie, Cindy and Juliet, for their Summer white apparel recommendations. And I want to show you what has been keeping me feeling cool in this warm weather…in addition to what’s on my radar.
White Summer Outfit: Cropped Jeans And Gauzy Shirt
This is a great go-to outfit for running around in San Diego (as I did a couple of weeks ago). The slightly cropped fringe hem pants are from J. Jill as is the white cotton gauze peasant top (this is a petite small and there are other colors). I love gauze tops in warm weather.

White Dress For Lunch Out Or On The Beach As A Cover-Up
I’ve worn this embroidered Tommy Bahamas dress to lunch at our country club and to the beach as a cover-up.
The Havaiana flip flops are a favorite of mine to throw on and keep by the back door.

Mosquitos Don’t Like White
According to this Time Magazine article “Mosquitoes are also drawn to certain colors—they love red and black, Riffell said in the video. But mosquitoes tend to dislike white and green, Riffell added.”
White Maxi Dress
A breezy white maxi dress is comfortable in Summer. I wore this Boden white embroidered maxi dress to my 50 year high school reunion recently. It’s no longer available, but this is similar and on sale.
Here is my sister in the white Anthropologie Somerset cut-out dress. It’s sold out but this is a beautiful one in eyelet.

MA! White suits you … you’re a vision of summer goals. Love the gauze peasant top and could use it in my wardrobe today. It’s warm.
