As Spring and Easter approach, it’s the perfect time to infuse your home with a fresh burst of energy. One of the best ways to welcome the season and your guests is to create a stunning Easter table!
Create A Stunning Easter Table Setting for Spring
Here are affordable ways to refresh your Spring dining room table. These subtle Easter table decor ideas can work well into summer and even be used outdoors when the weather warms up.
Floral Centerpiece: Grocery Store Flowers In A Target Vase (on sale!)
Nothing says Spring quite like a bouquet of fresh flowers. Instead of splurging on expensive floral arrangements, opt for fresh blooms from your grocery store.
This is a great textured vase from Target…and it’s marked down 25% off online so it won’t last! It has an organic terra-cotta pot feel.
I used garden and spray roses but tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths stems are classic choices for Spring.
New Inexpensive Salad Plates For Mix and Match Tableware
You don’t need a complete set of matching dinnerware to set a stylish table. Embrace the eclectic charm by mixing and matching different plates, glasses, and flatware for effortlessly chic place settings.
One of my favorite things to do is use a colorful salad plate on top of a white dinner plate. These yellow with white rim porcelain plates from Crate and Barrel have a slim profile and stack easily in the cupboard. They are $5.95 each and we’ve already used them for breakfast and lunch, too.
Fresh Colorful Block Print Cotton Napkins
Give your table a quick and affordable refresh by swapping out your old tablecloth or placemats for fresh, seasonal table linens. While not cheap, we have had these white washed rattan placemats from Pottery Barn for a few years and enjoy using them (so the price per use is way down)!
Layer with colorful napkins in coordinating hues to add depth to your table setting. I featured these inexpensive block printed cotton napkins from Amazon recently (12 for $16). I bought two sets for mixing and matching.
I simply folded the napkin diagonally, rolled it and tied it in a loose knot. These napkins are more luncheon size (which is fine for informality) but it you would like to make them more substantial, you could add a white cloth napkin that you probably already have and a napkin ring.
Nature Inspired Hand-woven Raffia Candle Holders
Bring the beauty of the outdoors indoors by incorporating natural elements into your table decor.
I found these hand-woven raffia candle holders on Etsy. These are the large size but the medium is pretty too.
We like these unscented dripless pillar candles from Amazon.
Dark Chocolate Easter Bunny Party Favors
These chocolate bunny party favors from Target emphasize the Easter celebration! You can use them to support a simple homemade place card.
Check out Annie’s from Most Lovely Things Spring Tablescape. She uses these bunnies in milk chocolate and changes the red ribbon to a pretty pastel.
So, with a little creativity and imagination, you can achieve a stylish and inviting Easter tablescape without breaking the bank.

Mary Ann,
Your table looks beautiful! I too love the look of seasonal salad plates and often by 2-8 of salad plates that I like and my husband and our guests use them for each specific season. It is a fun way to add color, texture and whimsy to the table.
Love the bunnies too!
