Jewel Tone Wedding Guest Dresses were popular at the recent wedding we attended. Today, I have a little bit of everything like the dresses my friends and I wore for a formal wedding, a pillow source you should know about, television art (even if you don’t have a frame tv), a delicious weeknight dinner dish, and more!
It’s Five Fave time with Annie and Cindy!
Jewel Tone Dresses That My Friends And I Wore
It was fun to see all our friends dressed up for a beautiful wedding in Tampa last weekend.

I sized up to an 8 so that this Tadashi gown in corded lace wasn’t too clingy. And I had to have several inches cut off the bottom. But I was comfortable!
Here is my friend Joy with her beautiful daughter, Ana.

This is mostly the group that we travel with (notice the jewel tone wedding guest dresses)…

Since I wore cap sleeves, I loaded up Eucerin Intensive Care Lotion on my arms. You can see my other Amazon favorites here. I’m trying to embrace the wrinkles at least with moist skin!

Screensaver For Your TV (When you don’t have a Frame TV)
I love Annie’s screensavers on her Samsung Frame TV. Tutorial here.
But we couldn’t justify the cost of a new Frame television as the ones that came with the house are in great shape.
I’m technologically challenged, but I found a way to have beautiful images on our television while we have a party or just relax, cook, clean, etc. If you have a Roku, you can access YouTube. Type in the search bar: tv art screensaver. Several examples will come up like:
Or:
You have to watch some ads first if you have the free version. I also love the images from around the world.
What To Read
“All My Rage” by Sabaa Tahir This is a really engrossing story told by three interconnected people of Pakistani descent.
“From one of today’s most cherished and bestselling young adult authors comes a breathtaking novel of young love, old regrets, and forgiveness—one that’s both tragic and poignant in its tender ferocity.” ~Good Reads
What To Cook On Weeknight
This is a dish that Howard makes on a fairly regular basis: Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. I love all the flavors and textures.

Pillow Fever For Beautiful Pillows
Here’s a pillow source that I think you should know about…

My fresh new pillows arrived a day late for our Spring Updates For Your Home post on Thursday. So I want to show them to you now. The Thibaut paisley pillows with a white background really give the sofas a nice boost!

Pillow Fever does beautiful workmanship using designer fabrics in lots of colors. It might be time to give your sofa some love.

They made the large lumber for our bedroom, too.

Now let’s check out what Annie and Cindy have for us.

I love the leather on the PB chairs. Unfortunately the link doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
Here you go… https://rstyle.me/+C-lHN7oQh-jj9WY4m94pYw Thanks for telling me, Mary. I will fix it.
What a pretty dress. I’m thrilled to see color after primarily seeing shades of black for so many years. Haha.
I’m excited to check out the Roku Screen Saver option. My TV sits on an antique buffet and is large enough to look like a black hole if the TV is off.
Have a great week.
PS I have a new Bernedoodle mini puppy. So, I’m a little late answering most of my favorite bloggers.

Mary Ann, you look gorgeous and what a beautiful photo of you and Howard. Looks like a fun wedding, all those jewel tone dresses makes for a joyous celebration. Howard does it again with a delicious pasta dish and I love how your make wonderful little changes to freshen up your beautiful living room.
Lovely dress!
Thanks!!!
I love your idea of putting something beautiful on rotation on your TV. Great to look at instead of a black hole. I wish my husband liked brocoli, what I wish my husband cooked.
Love all your friends jewel tone dresses and you look sensational. What a fun wedding it must have been with all your best buds. Can’t wait to see where you travel this summer. TV screen saver art is the best and I need to spend some time figuring it out. That pasta … yum. Putting it on this week’s menu. Happy Sunday! xo
Thanks, Juliet. We are going to Portugal but with a smaller group this year.
Mary Ann! You look stunning in your jewel tone dress! The color is gorgeous with your hair!
Love your new pillows! Thanks for the shoutout about the Frame TV tutorial!

Hi Mary Ann,
Gorgeous wedding dress on you !! And so lovely to see a picture of you and your husband looking so fabulous! I hope you had a marvelous time. I wore a Tadashi peacock dress last September for my son’s wedding and l think the designer is a genius as his clothes are so sumptuous and celebratory.
Have a lovely week!
That sounds beautiful.
Hi Mary Ann
Women our age are so appreciative of ideas for wedding attire. It is so hard to find attractive, age appropriate dresses! You looked beautiful in your gown!
Thanks, Cindy, You are right that it requires a bit of shopping.
You look so lovely in your wedding guest dress! I often struggle with dresses for weddings. You and your husband look very elegant!
Thanks, Carolyn!!!
