What I Bought At A Private Sézane Sale For Spring
Hello! I’m happy to report that our small Content Creators conference in San Francisco planned by Cindy, Annie and myself was a success! I wanted to share the cute Spring Sézane Finds that I bought at our private sale there, the professional color analysis that you should consider and some great Quince items that my family loves.
It’s Sunday Faves time with Annie and Cindy!

There are some affiliate links and I appreciate your support!
Sézane Spring Finds
You know I always stop at one of the Sézane shops when I am in Paris for the cute French girl style…so it was fun when they opened the shop in San Francisco early for us.

Noelani from La Vie On Grand (who covers French style and also does private tours in Paris) has a relationship with Sézane and was able to arrange a private shopping experience for us at the shop on Filmore Street.

I bought the above eyelet shirtdress,

a dark brow belt and a dark brown straw shoulder bag. And I’d like to have these bangles (perhaps for Mother’s Day ?).

Personal Color Analysis By Susan Blakey
Have you had your “colors” done? Susan did my color analysis (has to be sans makeup) in her hotel room at the Grand Hyatt Union Square (where we all enjoyed our stay).

It turns out that the grid above (Autumn) is my optimum color palette. These colors work with my complexion rather than detract.
I am on board with it. I sort of had a feeling what looks good on me. But this really helps. Thanks, Susan.
If you are in the Los Angeles area, contact Susan for an in person color analysis. Susan also features fashion on her blog and personal tours of Paris.
On My Quince Radar
While I was in L.A. at my daughter’s house last weekend, I slept on her Quince cotton percale sheets. And they feel crisp like a nice hotel’s.
Quince leather makeup and luggage tags

Quince donated nice neoprene makeup bags and leather luggage tags (lots of colors and a great gift) for the goodie bags that Cindy prepared.
What I Am Also Ordering From Quince

I-phone crossbody leather holder (three colors) I am going to travel with this, too • More of the Quince wine glasses we love (Zwiesel “lead-free Tritan® Crystal Glass engineered to resist breaking, chips and scratches”) • and a second set of the flatware back in stock (it’s simple design goes with everything)
Shopping With My Daughter, Alexandra
I feel so lucky to have a daughter that I adore. Last weekend, while her husband Luca babysat, we did a little shopping on Melrose.

It was hot in Los Angeles so I was glad I threw this older Madewell shirt dress in my luggage similar (since I was primarily concerned about the conference attire in SF). Alexandra’s silk maxi is vintage (for $20–she has a great eye). I bought a tropical print dress to wear to Sea Island with friends.
While shopping this pretty arrangement using lots of greens caught my eye…

Aren’t those carnations pretty?
On Thursday, Annie, Cindy and I are showing what we packed and wore to the SF Content Creators conference. So stay tuned!

Let’s see what my friends have discovered this week:

What fun you girls had. What a treat. I think there’s a Sezane opening up at The Grove. I must check it out.
Happy Easter Mary Ann! I loved seeing my favorite bloggers all together in SF so fabulous! Love the dress and the bag you found in Sezane. I have just bought the Justine straw bag and i love it. Have a lovely week!
Hi Mary Ann, it was such a pleasure to spend time with you again. I love that Sézane dress on you. Thank you again for organizing the Creators’ event and I hope we can do this on a regular basis. Happy Easter to you!
P.s. I love my luggage tag and bag from Quince! I am ordering the green phone case. Thank you. x
Mary Ann, So fun to spend time with you this week. It went too fast. I adore the eyelet dress- and the bag you got. Can’t wait to hear more about Sea Island! Thank you again for all you did to plan the conference. I had the best time and so grateful to be included. xo
Happy Easter, Mary Ann! It was so fun shopping at Sézane in San Francisco with you and the girls. I love that blue/cream skirt you shared on your Instagram. You will have to add it to this post.
xx
Mary Ann,
I am always jealous of how well you wear a shirt-dress. I am so short-waisted that they never look good on me, and I feel they also overwhelm me with their voluminous skirts which end up matching the voluminous bodice. They rarely are available in petite sizes. So I’m asking for your secret!
Sheryl
Happy Easter, Mary Ann! The Farm Rio looks terrific on you! I love the flattering, practical Sezanne Betty cardigan and have been looking for a second color (have a black one), but the coral color that I’m eyeing may be too orange for my Winter coloring (w/ golden undertone)
OOPS: thought I’d edited out my Sezanne comment!
As I happens, I am flying out to Paris later today to spend part of my bday month in one of my favorite cities. I’ve been to a Suzanne store there and the one on Santana Row. I’ll be sure to go back to the Paris one again this trip.
You look smashing in the tropical print dress!
Happy Easter and Spring~
I think spell check changed my “Sezanne” 🧐
Yes…there is another store near Monmartre too!
And thanks for the compliment on my new dress.
Happy blessed Easter to you and your family!
I’ve always admired those Sezanne bracelets. I have a small wrist and imagine you do, as well. How do they fit?
My wrist is pretty small…but I liked the look…you may not though, Catherine.
Happy Easter! I hope to see a photo of you wearing your Farm Rio dress. Very colorful. Finding out that you are an Autumn must be clarifying. We tend to have a good eye for what works but fine tuning must be fun. You look lovely in your eyelet shirt dress. Enjoy your day with your family.
I wore it in the newsletter that went out this morning 🙂 Happy Easter, Sydney!
Looks like a fun trip. Do you think Sezane clothing runs big or small? Love the dress you purchased.
I think it is pretty true to size. The dress is a size 36 and I bought a size six skirt that is sold out now.
MA! First of all your Friday night dinner dress is ooh la la stunning. Hope to hear more of your Sea Island adventures. You look amazing sans makeup during your session with Susan. What fun … I’d love to do a full one. Alexandra’s skirt is a beauty. What a find. Happy Easter. xo
Happy Easter to you Juliet!
