Classic Style with Jeans, T-shirt, Cardigan
With all this time at home, I fall back on a classic, comfortable style of Jeans, a T-shirt, and a Cardigan. With the stretch in jeans nowadays, they are as comfortable as my workout pants. A t-shirt is easy to launder and with a cardigan, I have an extra layer at night or when the fog rolls in here in San Francisco.
This is basically my uniform these days. It feels pulled together and comfortable! You don’t need to buy anything new…you probably have these already in your closet.

Here’s how I style my jeans three ways:
Cuffed Blue Jeans, Long Cardigan, Van’s Slip-Ons
This is super comfortable to throw on to work from home or take Chief on a walk. I don’t always wear jewelry (that’s for you guys 🙂 but I do put on a little makeup as it makes me feel better.

Wide Leg Faded Levi Button Fly Jeans, Madewell T-Shirt
I’m not going to lie, these jeans were baggier on me before COVID. But they are still comfortable. My son said, “Mom, you are so stylish!” Little does he know I wore some like these twenty-five years ago. They are back!

J. Crew New Jackie Fitted Cardigans
I got the black cotton crepe cardigan (above and below) on sale and I love it. I’d like it in every color. The material feels like it will stay new looking longer than the old cotton Jackie cardigan.

Well, I agree, there is nothing better than a great pair of comfortable jeans. And now that they have stretch in them, they’re my favorite thing to wear. I love how you styled your jeans, and Tommy’s right, you, my dear, are tres chic! I think one thing that really make a causal outfit like the ones you’ve shared have that special edge, is a few pieces of great jewelry. My favorite right now that it’s so warm, are my jean shorts and skirts. I really enjoyed all the bloggers posts, you all did a wonderful job at giving us inspiration on wearing our jeans.

You do have a stylish, classic look! I love it. This is my uniform most days, too! So much nicer than sweatpants and I agree just as comfortable. I love my stretchy jeans! With fog in the morning and cool evenings I never go anywhere without a sweater or lightweight jean jacket, even on my back deck!
