The best way to hang a wreath on glass, like a mirror, window or glass front door is by using a suction cup hook (as seen below). I’m also highlighting a home with beautiful lighting, our creators small group retreat, and more.
It’s time for my favorite things with Annie and Cindy!

Creators Small Group Retreat At Cindy’s Home
We had a great retreat at Cindy’s Home in Paso Robles this past week. It seemed like Cindy, Annie and I had been planning it for months and the day finally arrived.

Do you have an Amazon Prime membership? I don’t think I could live without it now. It’s so easy and quick. Seems like they have everything you need.
How To Hang A Wreath On Glass
Wreath Suction Cup Hooks This suction cup allows you to hang wreaths on glass. I find it works a bit better and easier on glass than command strips.
It’s waterproof, removable and you can use it again. It would be good in a bathroom, too.

Ribbon
Amazon is a good source for ribbon like the Fall colors one that I used on my front door and the brown satin one in San Francisco. Good prices, too!
“Wear It Well” by Allison Bornstein
Allison Bornstein is a talented fashion stylish and good friend of my daughter, Alexandra. She says: “Define your style and use fashion as a tool for self-discovery using the Three Word Method & AB Closet-Editing System.”

It’s a fun and helpful read. For example, I can never get the look of the “French tuck” right and she says that you just tuck a bit of the top in between your first two belt loops. I never knew where to tuck! Easy.
Rest In Peace, Joni
Some sad news…my longtime blogging hero and friend, Joni from “Cote de Texas” died recently. Cindy Hattersley and I are broken hearted and planning a tribute post to her a week from Tuesday.
If you are new here, each Sunday I share my top five favorite things along with my friends, Cindy and Annie. It’s like our weekly “catch-up” phone call. If you would like to receive this series every week, please sign up HERE.
Let’s see what Annie and Cindy’s Five Faves are this week:

My condolences on the loss of your friend.
Joni was amazing, she was talented, kinds and always quick to help. Although I never met her in person we exchanged emails and I enjoyed “speaking/writing to her.” Her posts were like no other, the attention to detail and research was like reading a book. She will be missed by so many. My heart breaks for her husband and daughter , they have been through a lot over these last 7 years with her husbands migraines.
It’s been so fun to see you, Cindy, Annie, Juliet, Jennifer and Kris together. Love seeing Cindy’s house from all of your posts.
I’m off to buy a few of these suction cups. I’ve never used them to hang a wreath.
Have a wonderful week Mary Ann.
So enjoy all three of your blogs and appreciate your insights and research. So sad and surprising about Joni. She was the first ever blog that I read, and started when I lived in TX. Never met her but felt like we were friends. Just like you. Hopefully we are all enjoying our minutes together with friends and family.X XXX
I know…very sad to lose Joni.
I am so saddened to hear about Joni’s passing. She inspired me so much in MY own design world. I loved her posts, always. Although, we differed in our world views (and we emailed each other about it), I found her greatly talented in sooooo many ways. Thank you for passing this info on. May she Rest in Peace.
You all looked so cute! Wish I could have been with you all. I also use the suction cups to hold the wreath to my glass doors! Works great.
Joni inspired me with her wonderful pieces on homes. She was also such a lovely person. I’m so sad.
So sad to hear about Joni. I always loved her eloquent posts. I will miss her.
Mary Ann, how fun to relive the last week through your blog. You, Cindy and Annie put so much thought and creativity into planning the best three days and I can’t thank you enough … I came home inspired. Speaking of inspired, Cindy’s house … wow. It’s even more beautiful than the photos suggest … which is hard to imagine. I learned about Joni’s passing on the ride home. What a shock and a sadness. I’d just read her most recent (one or two weeks ago?) blog post which was wonderful as always. I’m about half-way through Allison’s book and it’s so good. Her Instagram is the first thing I look for in the morning. xo
What exactly do you do a bloggers retreat? I’m sure you had a lot of fun together.
Looks like a great trip to Paso! One of our favorite places to visit. I was so happy to hear Visual Comfort is in San Diego now. Went to look at lighting there last weekend for our bath and kitchen remodels. We ended going with all Aerin, a little splurge but wow they are stunning. Had already picked out most of them online already but seeing the lights in person even convinced my husband and he’s pretty frugal.
Just saw your instagram today and I had no idea Joni Webb passed away. Very sad. 😞
Buying those suction cups for the holidays!
Linda Salazar
Your blog, along with Cindy’s and Joni’s have been my longtime favorites. Joni always researched her subjects like no other. Her posts were always so beautiful, well written, and with a touch of humor. I look forward to your post honoring her. She is missed.
Thanks, Cheryl, Joni inspired all of us.
Hello Mary Ann,

Happy Sunday:)
It was really nice, Francesca!
