Hello, Friend! I want to tell you about the best cheap readers that are sturdy and stylish from Amazon. And there are lots of other great things that I swear by in my Amazon Store.
I’m writing this post from Tampa, Florida. We are staying with friends for the Gasparilla pirate festival and are enjoying some cool Tampa Hot Spots! So inspirational.
Five Faves Time with Annie and Cindy!
1. The Best Cheap But Cute Reading Glasses On Amazon
My friends Mercedes (she found them first) and Dorothy swear by these reading glasses from Amazon. And I do too after borrowing a pair (I’m wearing them now)! They feel as nice as my $50+ ones but these are three pairs for $19.
I usually am not crazy about blue light glasses for reading screens but these are great. And as much time as we spend on our phones and computers, I think they make sense.

2. Classic Casual Amazon Storefront
Speaking of Amazon (and the convenience of Amazon Prime), I have an Amazon Storefront where I put all my favorites from Amazon for everything from table setting ideas to health and beauty. And even books…all things I have personally ordered and love. Check it out!
Hot Spots In Tampa, Florida:
3. Psomi (A Greek Restaurant in Tampa)
We had a delicious lunch here. Psomi means bread in Greek and they have a bakery on the premise.

4. The Tampa Edition Hotel (And Chic Clubs And Restaurants)
This place is so cool…lots of inspiration. Thanks, Dorothy for taking me here.
I need more potted plants in our home and around our new pool (to be revealed soon).

5. Buying What You Love To Furnish Your Home
This antique French bookcase has been in our former homes in an office, and two dining rooms and now it’s in our bedroom.

What pieces do you have in your home that you will hang on to?
If you are new here, each Sunday I share my top five favorite things along with my friends, Cindy and Annie. It’s like our weekly “catch-up” phone call. If you would like to receive this series every week, please sign up HERE.
Let’s see what Annie and Cindy’s Five Faves are this week:
I don’t wear glasses but they looks fabulous on you! Love that hotel and pool inspiration, can’t wait to hear more about yours.
That hotel looks so cool! Can’t wait for more on the new pool!!! xo
Mary ann! I love the readers! They look fabulous! And I love your tip on buying what you love and you’ll have a place! That’s so true!
Xx
Went to get the readers, had them in my cart and they removed them from their store option..argh! I think I’ll wait for them to restock or so whatever they needed to try again. They are so cute!
Have fun at the festival!
OH WHAT a bummer, Lori. I ordered them this morning in 2.5 and it was no problem.
Hi Mary Ann
I am heading to check out those glasses. I am constantly misplacing my readers so these sound fabulous!! I have enjoyed seeing Tampa through your eyes. I have a couple friends from high school that live there. I haven’t been since I was in high school, and we know that was a long time ago!
Mary Ann—
I love Psomi too and another place you must go next time you’re in Tampa is Oxford Exchange. I love sitting in the atrium seating: White brick, lots of plants! So pretty.
Glad that you got to experience Gasparilla!
Yes, Carol. Love Oxford Exchange. We’ve been before.
We visited Tampa in January of ’22, during a rare cold, rainy spell. We were on a work trip for my husband, so we stayed at the conference hotel: not as fun and chi chi as the Tampa Edition Hotel! Despite the weather, it was a great visit — the Moorish architecture of the University of Tampa is gorgeous (the museum had a fun exhibit on Gasparilla) and if time (and interest) permit, the brand-new Museum of the Arts and Crafts Movement in St. Pete is world class and wonderful.
We need to check out those museums!!
