My client and friend mentioned how much she loved her new Christmas tree collar/basket from Target, which got me wanting to take a little trip there! And here are the BEST indoor items that I found of Target’s New Holiday Decor.
If you are like me, you don’t want to buy a lot of new things for Christmas decorating. But sometimes a couple of new items can make everything feel fresh and give you a new outlook on how to rearrange your table, mantel, or Christmas tree. Plus, I needed wrapping paper and I like Target’s prices!

Cute Christmas Stockings
There were so many good-looking stockings! Cable knit, plaid, and personalization with initials are big!

Christmas Tree Collars
I’m really loving the fun, new ways to cover your Christmas tree base with texture and color!

Tabletop Christmas Trees
These would be pretty on a mantel or down the center of the dining table.

I might order these glass trees (two sizes) and place small battery-operated candles inside them. I think they would give my old mercury glass trees a boost with these in the collection.

Target’s New Holiday Wrapping Paper
The Sugar Paper line for Target costs more but feels high-end.

And there are other great papers…take a look at my cart. I’m going with a black, red and gold theme.

Those are my picks for Target’s New Holiday Decor. See anything that I missed?
I like that you can order online and pick it up at the store. And I noticed that some things have same-day delivery for my zip code.
On November 30 and December 2, I will be giving you a tour of our holiday decor along with some other interior design bloggers.

I Hope my Target has some of these finds! I love Sugar Paper LA gift wrap and ribbons! Can’t wait to see your apartment decked for Christmas!!
I ordered a tree collar last year but it was after I decorated the tree (doofus) and that was not going to work since I would risk breaking ornaments. It’s a faux tree as well so I couldn’t cut any branches. I decided I didn’t want to store such a large item anyway so I returned it. Tree skirts take up way less room.
I will have to check out the wrapping paper next time I am at Target.

Hi Mary Ann,
I always look forward to your posts on Target deals. I’ve been wanting one of the wicker collars for my tree for a couple of years and somehow, I miss it every year. I’m going to make the purchase this year!
Target certainly designs great items for home and holidays at wonderful prices. (Sounds like an ad, huh?) {smile}
xo,
Karen
You know I love Target, Karen. To get to the bigger one, I have to pay a $6 bridge toll! Thanks love 🙂
Target has the best large contemporary prelit black metal houses for your mantel! They are about 10” tall and really make a statement. My favorite is the A frame house.

Thank. Deb!
I had never heard of a tree collar but what a great idea. I usually stock up on wrapping paper at World Market’s sale after the holidays but that didn’t happen last year (for obvious reasons). They do have great bargains on gift wrap but I’ll be headed to Target pre-holiday this year.
You shared details with me last year of where you got the burlap ribbon with the vintage look and red Merry Christmas script. I got some and love it, will always think of you when I drape it around my tree!
oh…thanks so much, Wren!
Target has the best stuff. I love the sugar paper polk dot!! I need to get a tree collar which do you think is best
I like the basket weave.
Love your wrapping paper choices! I’m crazy for sugar paper, good quality and all the coordinating ribbons, tags, etc. I just picked up fresh boxwood wreaths at Trader Joe’s. They’re back!
Thanks!! I got a rosemary Christmas tree there!
