I love the relaxed, global L.A. Design look. Here are cool home shops in West Hollywood like Nickey Kehoe, Hollywood At Home, and Rolling Greens that I always visit while being with family here. You can walk away with great inspiration and possibly a home accessory or two!
We’ve been staying in the L.A./West Hollywood /Beverly Hills area to help out and “love on” our new granddaughter. So, today for my Five Faves with Cindy and Annie, I want to share great home shops, delicious places to eat, a new wine bar to try in the area and the comfortable dress I wore!
Home Shops In West Hollywood/L.A.:
Nickey Kehoe
This is one of my favorite spots! Nickey Kehoe Home Furnishings and Decorative Accessories Shop by Interior Designers Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe. 7266 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA.
Hollywood At Home
“Peter Dunham’s destination for textiles, bespoke furnishings, one-of-a-kind lighting, accessories, and vintage pieces.” I always like to see what’s new! I’d like a couple of custom lampshades.
Rolling Greens
This is a high-end plant nursery and gift store. My favorite location is 7505 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. I bought our daughter a couple of snake plants in cement pots for her patio.
Places To Eat/Drink In West Hollywood.:
Melanie Wine Bar
This is an intimate and unintimidating wine bar and restaurant on 3rd Street. My sister, husband, and I each had a different glass of wine based on our preferences.
We were steered by Austin, the knowledgeable and approachable sommelier. I tried an orange wine from Chile. They have wines from all around the world.
South Beverly Grill
This restaurant is owned by the Hillstone Group. Try the Ruby Red Grill Trout or the Salade Niçoise with seared Ahi tuna.
Water Grill In Santa Monica
This is a little further from West Hollywood, but our son and his local friend love the seafood tower here and I love the view of the Pacific (especially at sunset).
Shopping Attire in L.A.
This comfortable maxi dress is perfect for shopping and going out to eat. I even got a few compliments.
The Somerset Maxi dress by Anthropologie comes in regular, petite and plus and in lots of colors. I like it so much that I have it in black too. This is a petite medium size.
Insider’s Where to Stay
The Hotel Wilshire is a stylish boutique hotel with fresh interior design, a beautifui rooftop pool with views (where you can get a delicious lunch), friendly service, and not crazy expensive. (And it’s just a few short blocks from where our kids live). We will stay here again.

First of all congratulations!!!! You know I live right in that area. It would be great to grab a coffee. But I do know when you’re in town and visiting your daughter and granddaughter you want to spend all your time with them. Just know I’m 5 minutes away. You look fab!!!
MA I’m taking copious notes. We’re going to be in LA in early November and I’m starting to make plans now. Your hotel looks amazing, we were thinking of staying at the Proper. Now I’m not sure.
