“Pillows or Shoes?”
Tough question.
But I have to go with “pillows” much to my daughter’s chagrin. She’d like to see an improvement in my wardrobe.
How about this new baby made of linen with black stitching?

With the summer slip covers off the seats, the salmon/coral colors are revealed…
I wanted compatible shades in the adjacent living room.
So, here we are…
The green Raoul linen on the chairs is replaced with off white linen for now.
The coral velvet pillow on the sofa
is new, too.
The pillows make me happy, but I have had my eye on these too…
I’d like them better if they were on sale though.
(They cost a lot more than my new pillows).
Here’s another question:

Love your rooms – they are looking so beautiful. You have similar colours and furnishings to me so I am taking a lot of inspiration from yours and Donna's houses for how to make them work. Love your new cushions too, looks great with all the others. You can never have too many cushions and I am a bit like you, I would prefer more home furnishings to more clothes!

Oh a question for you…how old is your ficus plant or you bought it tall? It looks so healthy? What's the secret?
It's slow growing (about a year old) and I just water it once a week and fertilize it once a month….seems to be ok with not much attention!
Hard, hard questions! I'm with u though…I'd rather buy home accessories than clothing stuff. anywho, my answers: Champagne most def over cookies,Flowers or coffee…can it be a tie? Oh but in the end, I need my coffee!

I've said it before and I'll sayit again…I love your style…your home! Oh, and your pillows! I'd rather shop for home goods than clothes any day of the week. I hate trying on clothes at stores, which means I need to usually make two trips, counting the returns! Can you tell me where you purchased your sofas? Are they slipcovered! Love them!

I had the sofa's custom made, Anne. The slipcovers are made from a washed cotton/linen that is pretty sturdy. The sofas are like large love seats with tight backs…you should be able to find similar on-line. Good luck.

Pillows for me over shoes, I only wear flats during the day so even though I actually own many dozens of shoes, I only wear really two pair so yes to the pillows!
Pillows over shoes any day, and I love the pops of coral and black…fantastic! You always come up with the freshest combinations of colors, pillows and flowers! Very very pretty. Coffee & chocolate chip cookies for me please, but I would still take the pillows over everything else. Lovely post Mary Ann.
Mary Ann, That pink and orange fabric on your pillows it to die for! That color combo has always been a fav of mine. And it looks perfect with your other fabrics. I pick pillows too, but I must admit…I do love shoes, but just not quite enough! The other two choices are a cinch….cookies and flowers!! Your living room looks gorgeous and makes me want to go fabric shopping to add some zing to my pillow collection. I MUST have the tray that's on your coffee table…can I ask where it's from? And I think you need the boots too! Keep an eye out at Nordstrom Rack and other such stores…you'll find something very similar or maybe even the exact thing…I guarantee it!
The tray is from West Elm…I love it too…I keep moving it around.

Sounds like my daughter! I would buy the pillows also, they are awesome! Love the touches of tangerine. The boots are pretty incredible!
As an antique pillow maker I would have to go for the pillows too and yours are beautiful. You can never have to many pillows trust me. As for the coffee or flowers question…really, I can't have both? They aren't as expensive as pillows or shoes. I can't answer that one but I have to say I LOVE YOUR LIVING ROOM!

Pillows (although I'm in desperate need of some new flats and boots), cookies, and coffee. Always coffee but I do love fresh flowers. Fun Mary Anne and I love the quick changes you've made for the season.
You know I love pillows and would always choose them over shoes. I do like those boots and I want some new ones this year, too. I say have the champagne with the cookies. Those flowers are gorgeous along with your other pops of coral.

House stuff is always easier for me. I am a wardrobe minimalist so very picky . I am crazy for that pillow! I sadly just had to return those boots in the warm saddle color, assuming they are the Madewell ones. I loved them but my favorite jeans made the legs too tight and I was afraid I would pull off the little tabs as I struggled to get them on. Ordered the short biker boots instead, hope they are good. My legs are not one of my fat parts so I was so bummed as I have never had to return boots for that reason. So difficult to find the perfect boot that will be fun to wear for years. Chocolate chip cookies and flowers…well two of the most beautiful things in life!
I think those boot are by Michael Kors…Let me know how you like the bike boots!
I love seeing pictures of your home and the new pillows are a sweet addition! Love the boots, too…I would be hard pressed to make a decision on this!
