Crisp Summer Beach House Look

My friend, Debbie has made a few small
changes in her living room.
She put a lighter slipcover on the sofa and
switched the pillows cases to blue and off white
(Chinoise by Vervain and a lumbar with a
Groundworks Fretwork Aqua/Blue tape).
Have I shown you this pretty little stool before?
She has two.  They are great to pull up for
extra seating or to use as an ottoman
 with these chairs
(stripe linen by Rogers and Goffigon, lumbars fabric by Raoul).
Debbie edited her bookcases.  The wooden framed chair is covered in a Rose Tarlow  pretty linen.

I like these library sconces and recommended
similar ones for a client’s new book case.
 Aren’t these blue greens soothing?
 Here is Debbie’s entry.
 Look at the roses!
She gave me some to take home.
Thank you, Debbie!

Great garage door and
notice the clouds in the reflection?

  1. Love her style! Would she share the wall and trim paint for both this living room and her new look? Finding the perfect white and complimentary neutral can be challenging.

  2. So lovely. The exterior of the home provides great foreshadowing of what's to come on the inside. Those roses are phenomenal!

  5. Hi
This is a really beautiful home. The detail both inside and out is exquisite . We just don't get this leave of detail on Aussie homes. It's also very expensive to replicate here. I love it all but I really like the view from the lounge into the dining room.

    Kind Regards
    Karen

  15. Now that is a great room!!! Beautiful. I get so bored with the hum drum rooms I see in many blogs on blogland. This room is great!!!!

  16. I could move in … do you think she'd mind? I could just sit in the driveway under the roses. I won't bother anyone!! xo

  20. So pretty! I love the vibe of her house because it is super elegant but still inviting and casual enough to feel like you want to go in and sit down and stay a while. I love a lot of white with a touch of black topped with blue and white, I have never seen it where it's not a winning combination.
    Beautiful…and those roses!!!!!!
