A Quick Peek…Travel Gifts That Howard Is Getting For Father’s Day
Here’s a quick post regarding travel gifts for Father’s Day. Lately, we’ve been doing a lot of travel and even though it’s good to be home we have more coming up! Like my 50th high school reunion next week (I can’t even believe it), a new grandchild in California at the end of Summer and a France trip in September.
Howard has been admiring my sturdy Quince 21″ carryon in Tan (although gifted to me, it is priced so much better than our Away cases). It was all I used for our trip to the British Virgin Islands. He asked for this one for Father’s Day. Their cases have a good warranty policy against defects and now come in lots of colors.
And as a surprise, I also ordered the luggage tags and an Italian leather money clip wallet.

I enjoy shopping at Quince and have been pretty happy with my purchases. But my husband bought the expandable carry on from Quince for a recent trip. The expansion area came apart on this first trip so he is sending it back, which was not easy since the original box was gone.

The price on the Quince may be better but how does it really compare to the Away case….inside and out? Does it tend to tip when you rest your tote on it??

It’s really just as good, Cathy…that’s why Howard wanted one like mine. My tote rests on it making it easier. And it’s holding up well after three trips with the airlines. The blue and white dress is by Tuckernuck but it may be sold out now.
