Hello, my friend. I wanted to get this quick post out to you about Five Good Things Right Now!! Please leave a comment if you have time…I always appreciate them so much!
Entryway Before and After
In this post by Brittany Makes she shows us how being in isolation got her motivated to change her entryway. It cracks me up as I feel like changing up everything around me, too!
Disney Park Sunrise Views from Around the World
This photo and more on the post: Sunrise Photos of Disney Resorts on The Disney Parks Blog by Thomas Smith
My heart goes out to all the cast members that have been furloughed during this pandemic. I haven’t mentioned this before, but my husband worked for the Disney Resorts for 13 years around the world at Walt Disney World, Disney Cruiseline, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Resort here in California. So, I feel like I am a castmember by association.
As Thomas Smith says “And from our Disney cast members to you, we want you to remember, ‘There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow, just a dream away’.”
Indian Indigo Patchwork Quilt
I use this blue quilt all year round, like recently for a picnic and also as a coverlet and tablecloth.
I wash it on the gentle cycle.

I hope you are having a nice weekend! On Tuesday, I’m going to show you what a 45 minute Facetime Design Consultation accomplishes! Enjoy your family!
Love your blog. Can’t wait for Tuesday post.
Thanks, Jean Ann…guess I’d better write it 🙂
Hello from Northern Virginia. I have been enjoying your posts for quite awhile. It is past time for me to say thank you for sharing your design sense, fashion sense and your family travels. My husband, my two sisters and their spouses traveled to Mykonos right after you did. Little did I know that our next international trip would be cancelled. We should have been on a flight this evening and heading to Sicily to meet up with friends. But, we are all healthy , and I love our condo where we are living (and near our grandchildren – we drive there and meet them outside in their big backyard to watch them play from a distance).
Stay well and please keep posting.
Thanks, Susan!! Sounds like you are living the life! Glad you are all healthy. We had to cancel our trip to Spain this summer. We are healthy, too.
Love your sister’s style and hair! I think I will order those shoes!
My goodness you and your sister look alike.
People can usually tell we are sisters especially when we are walking our matching dogs together 🙂
Margaritas to go…now that’s a delightful way to perk up a walk.
Etsy is amazing. I love indigo and never thought to check out their sight for indigo quilts. Love the creative ways you find to use yours.
Stay warm and well,
Diney on Camano Island
Margs have a lot of calories, Diane, but it was worth it!
Should’ve commented a looooong time ago as I’ve followed for years and I truly enjoy your posts! Love your friendly, kind tone! Love your “high/low” sensibility and love your sensible approach to life in general! I follow a lot of people and your posts rise to the top consistently, so thank you. You’re one to count on! 🌸
Thanks for commenting, Becky!
You must be having such a nice time with your son’s spending some time with you…that’s always the best.
I love the quilt, thanks for introducing me to that Etsy site. I like the country look of the quilt.
Your sister looks so much like you (or vice versa) 🙂
xo,
Karen
Your sister is gorgeous! i can’t wait to see your 45 minute design consultation. You have such great ideas!
I love it all and your sister is beautiful! I’m hoping and praying that we can return back to a more normal life safely and soon. I’m blessed to still be able to work and my heart goes out to all of those not working because of this pandemic.
I know, Jackie…seems it won’t be too much longer now, I hope.
Agree that your sister’s hair is gorgeous! Sorry Spain had to go for your summer trip. Did you read about the Spanish guy who just HAD to go outside that he walked his pet…fish in a fish bowl. That didn’t fly! Nor did the guy in Spain who walked HIMSELF in a T-Rex suit. Got busted! The video is hilarious. Glad you’re getting some sunshine and that all of your are well.
That’s so funny!
My grand daughter works for the Disney division of the Marriot and has been off for two months. Being a single mother with a new home she is having a struggle . I feel sorry for the young people who don’t know about by on less.
I enjoy your clothes. They look so practical
Yes, this time is so hard!
are those tomatoes – roasted and in olive oil…Yum?
Yes!
I’ve been reading forever but the Disney revelation was a surprise. Love all things Disney and interior design so no wonder I’ve loved your blog! I feel for the castmembers, as well! They’re doing all of the heavy lifting and hurt most in a time like this. I love your high/low sensibility. Your blog is a treat. P.S. I would guess that’s your little sister. I’m a little sister myself.

Teresa is actually my little sister…although with all the business advice and wisdom she has…sometimes I feel like the little sister. Thanks for commenting.
Love before and after..shows there are always other possibilities 😍. I hope to make a trip to Disneyland with 4 of my grandchildren once it is open again. We could all use a dose of happiness and being a kid again! And what a great idea..to go margaritas..love SF❤️ Your emails are always a welcome addition to my day.
Amazing Job!! Keep up the good work.
