Here are ten different ideas to take away when setting your Thanksgiving table. It’s fun to make this holiday feel special and show how grateful we are for friends and family. Click on the link sources for more details.
Shades of Blue
You could think out of the color box like Jane did here…
Neutral
Or set a soothing neutral table like Sheila’s…
Simplicity
Annie has a way of keeping it simple but festive…
Creative
Melaine found those wooden trees in the dollar section at Target. It’s good to find inspiration from different places.
Organic
Cindy ties colorful leaves and stems on her napkins.
Different Flower Bouquets
Last year, I used five mixed vases with five different flower bouquets and tied name tags on faux pears.
Velvet Pumpkins
These pretty accessories are all the rage! This is my sister’s table (where we will be spending Thanksgiving) this year.
Traditional
At my cousin, Janice’s house she set the table with heirloom china and crystal. This is definitely a good time to use your good stuff.Classic Casual Home
Using What You Have
Brooke comes up with a different combo by checking what she already has.
And that is basically what I did here by using a blue and white quilt that I had with my 15 year old pumpkin bowls. Check out what you have and then improvise.
Hopefully, you have some ideas for your Thanksgiving Table. And speaking of parties, we just had the best time over the weekend at Mercedes and Mark’s house in Florida. Mercedes gave me all her wonderful recipes (for a large group) that I will post about soon. We are in New York now…crisp Fall air. I’m going to be layering as it was warm when I was packing in SF (and it’s a bit cooler than I was thinking it would be–but lovely). Can’t wait to get out and explore.
Have a wonderful day!

Great ideas! I pinned everything! xo
All of these table settings are beautiful and would love to sit at any one of them! I always think I have to stick with fall colors, but I love the addition of blue. Thank you for all the inspiration you give us with every post you write.

Great blog ( as usual) Mary Ann, came at the perfect time too!
Thanks, Susan!! Have a great weekend.
Mary Ann, thank you so much for including my table in your wonderful collection! I love these ideas and will be referring to them when I put my Thanksgiving table together in just a couple of weeks! xo jane
So many beautiful tables and ideas! I love them all. Enjoy your time in NY!
Wow…so many great ideas…I am going to look through what I have and come up with something new this year.
Love your blog! All the tables are gorgeous but where to put the food? Do most people serve buffet style? I use a few small votive candles down the center of my table to save space, a nice tablecloth, my great aunt’s china, colorful napkins and the rest is filled with the Thanksgiving meal. Use my sideboard for the pies, water pitchers and wine.
We use my sister’s kitchen island, Colleen. At our house we do have a sideboard but sometimes I move flowers off for the food. Your table sounds lovely!!!
I love how different all the photos are. There is something for everyone, as Thanksgiving should be.
Have fun in NY!
