Use this Costa X-Base Textured Stool to update your look! It’s versatile, too. When Serena and Lily asked me to do a review of a product that I already owned…it was easy. I like our textured stools so much that I have recommended them to three of my clients. This is a sponsored post but all the opinions are my own.
Costa X-Base Textured Stool To Update Your Look
Why?
- The stool is hand-braided water hyacinth woven over a wooden frame…giving it a natural, organic feel.
- The design is streamlined and a little modern. I can see it fitting in in any casual environment from the coast to the mountains or in a farmhouse.
- With a small profile (22.5” W x 17.5” D x 18” H), it can work in large or tight spaces.
- It’s strong: Holds up to 300 lbs.
- And it’s versatile!
Here are some ways to use it.
As Extra Seating
My client, Theresa has three small children so they can pull the benches up to her coffee table to play board games.
It works really nicely for us for extra seating when we have parties (coming again!).
Use It As A TV Tray!
I probably should not admit this, but I have been known to put a tray on top of one of the stools and straddle it to eat dinner in front of the television (a lot). My husband prefers to put his tray on his lap. That Serena and Lily Mirabelle rug (on sale right now) has stayed miraculously clean under the circumstances!
Notice how our coffee table styling and pillows change but our Costa X-Base Textured Stools stay the same 🙂
Use It As A Footrest
We replaced my client’s husband’s worn recliner in favor of swivel chairs (to take advantage of the view), and now he can pull up a stool for his feet. In fact, I asked her how she likes the stools recently and she said “Yes, I love them! They add a great texture to the room. I think without looking too beachy.”
Use As A Bench in The Bedroom Or As A Luggage Rack
I’ve used ours for guests with smaller suitcases as a luggage rack since it is sturdy.
I’ve always loved the look of blue mixes with brown like in the above photo. That is a cute gingham duvet cover. It comes in blue and yellow, too. The rattan taper pendant is a new look. And I love the braided wool rug to make a bedroom feel plush. It’s on sale, too.

Love your living room! Where did you get your window treatments? Thanks!
The seating height is perfect for short legged humans like myself. I’ve sat on those without dangling ankles 👏👏👏.
That’s a good point, Li!!

My client in North Carolina has them too!
LOL….I have watched many Giant’s baseball games, while eating my dinner from a stool😁…
I have two, they also make a great stand for my tablet, to take a zoom yoga class.
Thanks for your honesty, Linda 🙂 I use it to hold my phone for yoga class, too.
A VERY VERSATILE PIECE!
I ADORE THE LOOK!
