I went to our San Francisco City Target the other day and wow! Even in my smaller store, there are great home goods at Target! Here is the “urban” view near the store (that is why it’s small–$$$ real estate).
There are fun things there for your home and not just for Fall. This hanging basket would look great on a front door with branches now and evergreens in the Winter.
There are some affiliate links in this post at no extra cost to you…and these are all things I really recommend or own myself. Need extra seating? These industrial chairs are stackable and come in LOTS of fun colors and are cheap.
They have some great ceramics like this large urn (need a white sponge to clean that spot). It reminds me of
our French one (I clipped those branches with my client’s permission :).
And this glazed pitcher and tray with the terracotta base are lovely.
The marbleized vases are cool. I couldn’t pass up the affordable, chunky throw.
It’s really soft. Bet it will sell out! Would make a nice gift.
You can see I also bought this white vase. For $15 this would also make a sweet gift with flowers from the grocery store.
Other great home goods at Target that I have and am still loving…
This wool accent rug that I’m using as a bath mat. It’s on sale.
Our wool runner was also from an earlier Target trip. It’s well made for the price!
Now it appears that the runner is on backorder but the larger sizes would be nice in a bedroom. On sale.
I’m sitting here watching the sunset in this spot and writing to you! The ottoman cube has been a great purchase for this bay window.
Do you have the Target Red card? I have the one that is connected as a debit card so I get an additional 5% off every time I shop there and free shipping on most items. I told my brother and son (they even get their groceries there) to get one, too.
Our friends from Florida arrived for a visit late in the evening so I had this snack ready for them (secret: even Cheetos look fancy in a little bowl :).
Have you found any great home goods at Target lately?
I love Target! I always find great things in the $1.00-$5.00 isle that are seasonal to send to my grandkids in Argentina and lots of stuff in the home goods sections for myself! I might add that you are right even Cheetos look great in a cute bowl!
Love Target & their home goods. I picked up a couple of cloth napkin sets & made pillow covers out of them. They were on sale – I covered two of our down pillows for less than $10😀
You are so creative!
Great finds at Target. I’ll have to go and see what I must have! Seeing your beautiful home always inspires me!
Love your finds. Especially the rug in the entry. It looks like an antique Persian rug.
Thanks for the shopping ideas!
Karen
awesome finds as always! I’ve been trying to stay away from the vortex that is Tarjay but after seeing this I feel the need to swing by and grab some of these picks!
Yes to Target. All summer it has been kind of lean but I noticed yesterday they were bringing in some new merchandise so I will keep stopping by!
Target has great items, but best to buy when you see them as they often are gone in a moment’s notice! I have also started buying some of my clothes there as well! Great prices and cute styles! Their candle selection is starting to run a close second to Homegoods, so check them out as well….Have a great day!
You have a beautiful place and the views from your windows are magnificent. They took Target out of Canada and I really miss it. Lucky you…finding such great buys. How is your daughter doing, I remember a post you did on her lovely apartment. Have a wonderful Fall. Betty Baker from Ontario.Canada
I didn’t know that, Betty. Can you buy online? Thanks for asking about our daughter. She is doing well! I’m going to see her in a couple of weeks when I take Chief to her for a little while (the airfare to LA is less than a kennel and he likes it better 🙂 My mom grew up in Alberta and we used to visit every summer…I know that’s not close but we love Canada!!
I love this post. I’m off to Target!
Good, Beth…seems like they do sell out of things. 🙂
wow…I want that throw blanket.
Target is always a favorite on my trips to the U.S. Good quality, tasteful design, affordable. Also the stores are well-organized and pleasant–even though they are huge, they don’t have that grim, cavernous feel–and the staff always seem friendly.
OTOH, I probably save a lot of money having the nearest Target across the ocean.
