SUMMER FUN: Phone Apps, Pillows, Strawberry Cake, Décor…

My mom, sister, brother and their dogs were visiting over Memorial Day weekend.  We tried to show them a good time!  Including walking the dogs to the nearby park with this clever gift…

Let’s keep this a secret in case it’s questionable legally.
See the words above on my photos?   I could just go crazy with the Over App.  Fun for personalizing your photos on your phone.  Try it for $1.99.

Make this easy, fresh strawberry cake from Smitten Kitchen.  I added some blue berries (patriotic) and served it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

My client, Juliet’s cute bench seat is back from the upholsterer, with a colorful Duralee indoor/outdoor fabric and top stitching.

It coordinates with the indoor/outdoor Dash and Albert rug.  This area leads out to their pool.
We needed artwork for the new Pottery Barn frames in Juliet’s bedroom.  I love that she used the Waterlogue app on photos from her pretty garden.

New teal velvet pillows made by Liana arrived.  AND I can’t wait to show you her colorful living room that is in the works.
Speaking of pillows…check out my new Suzanne Kasler for Lee Jofa Athenee Velvet pillows.  Liana said the velvet feels as soft as a new puppy! The fun circle fabric is also by Lee Jofa Threads.

On the other sofa, we have two fabrics from Lee Jofa: Aerin in  Meadowood Mist and Marila.  The cotton paisley tones down the formality of the lovely embroidered linen.
Notice the little corner pleat?

Howard and I were invited to go to the Warriors game last night and WOOHOO–WE WON!  ON TO THE NBA FINALS!

Today, I was in Pottery Barn to pick up a couple things and isn’t this outdoor table setting pretty?

20% off right now.

May I get your opinion, please?  Do you prefer shorter posts more often or longer ones (like this one) less frequently, say once or twice a week?  Our email inboxes get so filled up, that I prefer fewer and longer.  But if you could let me know your thoughts in the comments here or at [email protected] I would appreciate it!

Thanks for visiting!
