Home Goods in San Mateo, CA has a lot of blue and white china (I like to duck in there when coming back from clients on the Peninsula).
That vase in the back center is misshaped though…you have to select carefully.
Great prices!
And while out shopping last week, I noticed Target has some cute end tables.
These could be used as seating or as ottomans. They are sturdy.
We are going to our family’s house in San Diego for Christmas. Afterwards, friends and family are coming back to San Francisco for A New Years Eve Party.
I’m putting out fresh linens and other little details for our guests.
This soap smells heavenly with rosemary and patchouli. Gives a nice subtle scent to the guest room.
I replenished the coffee station using vintage copper that I polished with Barkeeper’s Friend. Just picked up that linen towel while I was at Home Goods along with a couple other things for our New Years party.
I still have a few Christmas cards to get out. Our photos choices were not so hot. I had a cracked tooth pulled the day before 🙁
Tiny Prints even called twice to make sure we were ok with the photo quality (nice service). I enjoy getting cards from people so much, I figured it was better than nothing.
Many people I know are sick with colds and the flu right now. It’s easy to overdo it during this season. We are keeping it simple (although you wouldn’t believe my husband’s fancy Christmas menu–but that’s fun for him).
Anyway, give yourself permission to take it easy a bit. You’ve done enough. Bundle up with a mug of tea or hot chocolate. Thanks for being here! Merry Christmas!
