Spring Home Finds Under $50: Fresh Picks to Refresh Your Space
Spring is here! Are you having that familiar urge to give your home a little refresh? Besides letting the fresh air in and cleaning, a few well-chosen pieces can make your home feel new again.
It’s Sunday Faves time with Annie and Cindy! Next Thursday we are posting about Spring Refresh ideas and I can’t wait to show you our refreshed living room. But for now here are Spring home finds under $50 to inspire you.
Start with a room at a time, clean it and add a little something (even something from another room). Use what you have first. That’s what I do.

1. Bring the Outdoors In: Fresh Florals & Greenery
- Trader Joe’s is currently stocking various spring branches, including cherry blossoms, priced around $7.99 per bunch, perfect for early spring decor. Our TJ is often restocked on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Trader Joe’s also has bulb flowers like Blue Hyacinth in glass vases that you can you can watch “spring” to life. Smells great too.

- Faux stems and dried botanicals for low-maintenance color. These realistic faux hydrangeas (blush on sale) would be nice mixed with real greenery from the garden.
2. Lighten Up Your Textiles
- Swap out heavy throw blankets for lightweight cotton or linen options
- Pastel or light throw pillow covers are as a simple, affordable refresh (in my case, I am going into my “pillow stash” for lighter cotton and linen)
- Look for shades like ivory, blush, chambray, sage, and butter yellow for an effortlessly spring-ready feel
3. Make Your Home Smell Like Spring

- Soy or coconut wax candles — look for notes like peony, eucalyptus, or cucumber and mint.
- I like the affordability of Quince. If you buy two or more candles, they are $20 each. We like Bergamot Basil, and Minerale.
- Reed diffusers in fresh, seasonal scents: citrus, white tea, fresh linen, and garden florals. We have the Quince Mediterranean Fig diffuser in our powder room where burning a candle might not be safe.
- What are your favorite Spring scents?
4. Tabletop & Entertaining Essentials
- Spring-ready placemats, linen napkins, or a simple table runner to freshen up your dining space
- Colorful glassware or small plates (like the ones in the following collage are perfect for appetizers or dessert
- A floral centerpiece or candle arrangement to pull the whole look together

5. Small Decor Accents That Make a Big Impact
- Decorative trays to style and organize countertops or coffee tables
- Woven baskets for lightweight, seasonal storage
- Ceramic or terracotta candle holders and bowls for an earthy, grounded feel
Spring Outfit Of The Week

- Warby Parker sunglasses
- shirt dress on sale. On my wish list.
- Milk cheek and lip color. I use this dusty rose color when I want a minimal makeup look.
- Lisi Lerch chain and pearl necklace
- Sézane bangles set of three makes a nice statement
- Straw and leather crossbody
- The Fonteyn Jane Woven Shoe comfortably elegant finish to a chic outfit

Let’s see what my friends have discovered this week:

Love those anthro napkins! So many pretty spring things!! Now if I can just get my house refreshed before Thursday!!
This post has inspired me to bring spring into my home. I think of all the “heavy” winter throw pillows and now I want airy, Spring around me. It makes me feel lighter just thinking about it.. Thank you.
Love your ideas Mary Ann for spring refresh! That outfit is so cute and especially the bag! x
Lovely ideas! I just changed out my winter for spring summer table linens and pillow covers. It is small but has a big impact. Can’t open windows today because of wildfire smoke from the 24 Fire on Fort Carson property north of Penrose, Colorado. It is a good way away from us but the wind is carrying that smoke. It is very high fire danger as the humidity has been extremely low in single digits. Today less windy and humidity is up to 28%. Pray for rain as we haven’t gotten rain or snow since January.
Love these Spring ideas thank you Mary Ann. I bought those Sezane bracelets and they are wonderful and so versatile.Thinking of you all and sending support xo
I have just gotten caught up on past posts…my heart grieves with you on the loss of Chief. Never, ever gets any easier to say goodbye. Be kind to yourself as it all sinks in.
Mary Ann, so many lovely ideas to bring a little spring into your home without spending a lot. I do love those candles from Quince. Yours looks so pretty in the little bowl with a match striker.
