Good morning! I’m excited to share a delicious Fall Dinner Party Menu that will impress your guests. My friends and I have each chosen a dish (and recipe) for this dinner party. I’m showing an Autumn Salad that I recently served to our company from out of town.
I’m also unveiling our new extendable dining table that expands from six guests to ten (and possibly a cozy twelve). It’s nice to have more space when we want it, especially with the holidays coming.

Our New Transitional Extendable Dining Table
This large table from Crate And Barrel has a modern transitional design with a white oak top and iron legs and is very sturdy. We put the smaller table that we had in here under our covered patio for outdoor dining.
Without The Extensions
The dining room is painted Sherwin Williams Acacia Haze.
With The Extensions
We have extra stackable chairs in the garage that we bring in here for larger parties like the one we had last weekend.
And that’s the new extendable dining table that we love and a Fall Dinner Party Menu that YOUR guests will love.
I’m going to pin all the recipes. You can find them here…

MaryAnn,
I too am making that salad for my book club next week.
My eye is drawn to the abstract painting in your dining room. Where is that from? Was that a California find? Our home is classic- that painting is just the right amount of abstract.
Mary Ann Pickett says
Yes, I did buy it in California at a shop by Ann Dennis in Costa Mesa…years ago. I am not sure if she is still there. Thank you!

MA! That salad … that table! Love every single detail of your new home including what you’re serving for our autumn progressive dinner. You had me at crispy prosciutto … but then there’s the goat cheese, arugula and apples. A heavenly combination and it has fall written all over it. What a great table. I can already tell that the extensions are going to be getting a lot of use. And I can’t get enough of your dining room and that gorgeous acacia haze paint. This was so fun! xo

I love your new table. I would so like to replace mine with something more contemporary but at this point in my life, it’s not really practical. My chairs have needlepointed seats done by me so I hate to discard them after all of the hours put into creating them. In my next life….
Your salad recipe looks like a keeper. Enjoy that little babe!

Your chairs are heirlooms!!
