Hello! I’m excited to be a part of the Holiday Home Tour and show you my simple blue and red Christmas table. It was inspired by our view of the San Francisco Bay!

Holiday Home Tour
Each year The Holiday Home Tour is produced by Jenny from Evolution of Style and Amy and Christy from 11 Magnolia Lane. Today is the day we are showing our dining rooms or entryways! All the participants can be found at the end of the post.

Please head over to Christy’s at 11 Magnolia Lane next! She lives in Germany. Tell her how much I love her Limoges plates!
View Of The Golden Gate Bridge From Our Dining Room
If you are new here, we live in a 100-year-old apartment in San Francisco. Sitting in our bay window in the dining room gave me the idea to set a Blue and Red Christmas Table.

Blue and Red Christmas Table with Berry Branches
In the center of the table, I simply placed branches of red berries from the grocery store with small pinecones.

Red Goblets
My mother bought the red goblets for us when we lived in Paris twenty years ago. I was admiring them with her in one of my favorite home stores, Maison de Famille and she purchased them. The goblets can easily make a table festive.

Blue Bowls and Linen Napkins
The blue-black bowls, cotton indigo napkins, and ocean blue table runner are more recent purchases from West Elm.

Votive Candles
I always have a box of these unscented candles handy!

Red and Green Window Box
In the bay window, I placed a container with red double impatiens and a rosemary Christmas tree from Trader Joe’s

The Beverage Area in The Dining Room
Speaking of Trader Joe’s, I picked up the wreath below there last year and it’s still happy. I put it in my white vase and added a ribbon.

Please come back on Thursday for the full tour!!

Yes…and it’s best when our windows are clean 🙂
Mary Ann,
Simple is always so beautiful to me. I love the story about the red stemware, especially the fact that your mom bought them for you and Howard. That must be a heartwarming remembrance. The table looks lovely and so pretty.
I’ll enjoy seeing the posts of this talented group of blog writers.

Thanks, Juliet!
Good morning Mary Ann,
Your table and arrangements look so elegant, I really like the clean look and simplicity of what you created.
The red goblets from Maison de Famille that your mama purchased for you when you lived in Paris are beautiful.
What treasured memories you have of this treasured gift.
While we were staying in Beverly Hills with our family over Thanksgiving our Jennifer took me to her favorite store called Maison Midi it’s on La Brea, most things come from France, with some French Moroccan as well. It’s
a fun place. I am sharing this store with you knowing you lived in Southern California as well. I am just not sure where. I so enjoyed this store because we do not have stores quite like this in Arizona.
Sending you a happy and joyful day.
They used to have a Maison Midi in Newport Beach…not sure if it is still there but I loved it too!
I LIKE YOUR INSPIRATION WINDOW!!!
VERY FESTIVE………..
PS. I AM BACK!BLOG POST IS UP!
Ok, Elizabeth. I didn’t get your email!
Your table looks fabulous, Mary Ann! I love blue and red together–so classic–and those French goblets are to die for. Thanks so much for touring with us again this year, and Merry (early) Christmas!
Thanks, Christy…LOVED your table. And the Limoges dishes.
