It’s before Thanksgiving and I’m seeing lots of people’s homes on Instagram fully decorated for Christmas. Well, I get it that it’s a lot of work and some people want to have longer to enjoy it. But I really wasn’t into the holiday spirit until… Chief and I took a little trip to Target.
Target is full of fun, well-priced things for Christmas!
They were not playing Christmas carols yet but it was festive. I’m pretty sure Chief is not allowed in (you know what they say about asking for forgiveness rather than permission).
So, I put him in disguise. Plus, we stayed away from the grocery area.
First of all, at the front of the store they had this sort of boutique with
Matching Pajamas For The Whole Family
I got a visual image in my head of our whole family wearing these on Christmas morning. SMILE. Can you envision YOUR family? Yes, it’s dorky…somehow I love it. $19.99 and all sizes right now. I might take a family poll or just make an executive decision about this.
Christmas Stockings
I’ve been using the same old white silk stockings for years. Target is loaded with cute ones.
Hot Chocolate Station
I love how all the fun fixings are in one spot.
Cozy Slippers
These are my favorite suede slippers and I see you can get them in leopard and black, too, online (hint to my family: for me for Christmas, Black size 7). $19.99 and you will love them.
Scented Candles
When I rounded the corner and saw these faux wreaths, they smelled real…it was the candles.
Christmas Cookie Cutter For The Whole Sheet
Have you ever seen anything like this? If it works, it’s brilliant.
Cute Winter Accessories
Fancy beaded clutch
Only $15!
Super Soft Scarves
Lots and lots of pretty ones that feel like cashmere for around $15-17.
Honorable Mention
Fifteen days of Elf socks...I know someone who would think this is funny (Tommy).
I didn’t buy much BUT I’m still thinking about everything and I notice that a lot of these items have free two day shipping (at least to my zip code…and my sister’s, where we will be for Christmas, not sure about yours). So, perhaps, it’s time for a little Target online shipping.
I’m doing some “transitional” holiday decorating with pinecones and wreaths. How about you?
On Thursday we have a great group of bloggers with specific gift guides for everyone on your list! See you then.
About five years ago my Daughter purchased from Target, pj’s for our entire family.
Her In Laws, my ex Husband, my now Husband. Her Sister, Sister In Law. We all wear them every Christmas morning when we are all together. All 13 of us.
That makes for great funny memories….doesn’t it, Cathy??
I love these Target posts! Feels like I went shopping, even though I was swamped at work. Thanks for the nice break and ideas! PS love all of your posts!
Oh man…I’m so glad you can buy things online at Target. Thanks for your comment, Heidi!
Thank you for the post ! I was at Target in San Ramon on Monday and had none of those items! I need a new Target !
Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🦃

Thanks for the tips! BTW – Chief’s cap is adorable on him but then he can wear anything with panache!
I think Target should pay Chief for looking so handsome in his perfect outfit looking so cool in the red Target cart.
I think this is so fun. Love the family Pjs and the candles. I have to get there and check it out. Chief is too cute. I’d smuggle him in too! Hugs.
Even if pooches aren’t allowed in Target, who could deny that adorable face and those eyes!
Well, I think I will order myself those pj’s and do all my shopping at home in them 🙂
It’s only November 18th! I’d really like to wait until December 1st to get into the Christmas spirit.
Wow I need to head to Target you found so many great things. Better yet I will order with free shipping. I don’t think I could convince my family to wear those PJ’s but I could see the cute Pickett family in them!
LOVE THE PJ IDEA!!!!
Perhaps I can adjust a Childs set to fit the PIGGY!!!!!!!!!!
Just us this year NO BOYS…………..HO HUM.
SO look forward to seeing YOU this week!
