When Leslie and Jessica from Segreto Secrets asked if I would like to participate in their organization project with other bloggers, I said sure!
My friend, Debbie said “How about organizing my work studio?” It needed help after her busy holiday season of producing hand-made, artisan quality bags, totes, clutches and more.

She painted the built-in dresser (and all the other furniture in the room) a soothing Annie Sloan Old White and added these pretty knobs from Anthropologie.
Since Debbie’s products tend to be fresh and colorful (influenced by her years living in Hawaii), I thought we should try to keep the new additions more neutral. We made a trip across the Bay to IKEA as I really wanted to get these gold and white retro sconces (only $20 each).

Now she has an inspiration board and the thread spools hung vertically.
The wire grid is from Acme Display. The enameled hanging cups are from IKEA…keeping the counter clear to spread fabric.
She won’t be losing her scissors anytime soon.
Debbie’s computer desk area was also given a makeover. The chair below is from Overstocks and Debbie purchased a new laptop (the most expensive part of the makeover 🙂 Isn’t the matching IKEA desk lamp pretty?
Debbie added the cloth under the glass on the newly painted desk and made a coordinating pillow (nice job!).

I brought her tulips for the new gold vase from Anthropologie. The Pottery Barn pencils go with our white, gold, black, grey color scheme. An IKEA tray keeps her SF calendar and cell phone handy. The organization board above her desk is from Pottery Barn.

I cannot wait to see how these very talented people make life more beautiful with organization!
