It just takes a trip to the store or farmer’s market to obtain dinner party ideas with peaches and apricots… from the table setting to the menu. I will show you what inspired me.
Setting the table with apples or lemons…or even winery harvest grapes begins the theme that you can throughout the menu. The Georgia peaches have been amazing lately and organic apricots were on sale for half price…so that got me thinking about what to make for friends coming over for a weeknight dinner.
There are other favorite things this week like a case to make your laptop pretty and an alternative to a Frame TV.
Plus, luckily for us, we also have Cindy and Annie’s fun, new things with their links at the end of the post.
1. Pretty Computer Jacket
I admired Mercedes’ pretty computer jacket and she sent me the link. $19 is not a bad price for something I use every day! This would make a great present too. My daughter just said she would like one too.
There are some affiliate links at no extra charge to you.

I’ve been loving this daybed (it will need a memory foam mattress topper when made into a queen bed–Howard found one at Costco). It’s in performance fabric which makes it easy to clean off paw prints.
You can read more about my new home office here.

2. National Geographic Beautiful Screensaver Film with Music
Our son, Tommy AKA Thomas (at work), showed me this beautiful screen saver on Disney + that you can put on while working or relaxing. It’s called “Earth Moods” on Disney +. It’s a good substitute for a frame tv for now.

3. Dinner Party Ideas With Peaches and Apricots For Table Setting
The apricots were a deal at Whole Foods, so I made sure to fill some paper bags with them for our guests to take home at the end of the evening.

I love the apricot color against the dining room walls painted in Sherwin Williams Acacia Haze. There will be more about this room next week.

4. Green Salad With Peaches
Our friend, Julie asked if she could bring a salad to dinner and it worked out that it was in the peach theme! It consists of butter lettuce, croutons, chopped peaches, almonds, and a light lemon shallot vinaigrette.

5. Apricot Peach Galette
This is a good recipe for Peach Galette except I added apricots to the filling, too. The crust is flakey. We served it with vanilla ice cream.

If you are new here, each Sunday I share my top five favorite things along with my friends, Cindy and Annie. It’s like our weekly “catch-up” phone call. If you would like to receive this series every week, please sign up HERE.
Let’s see what Annie and Cindy’s Five Faves are this week:
I miss Georgia peaches so much that we now order a box every summer from the Peach Truck out of Nashville. Its brilliant! Will have my guys try out this recipe! Looks divine!
That’s so great that you can order them, Nancy! I didn’t see them in California either.
Gorgeous table setting, MA. Pinning away. I’m not good at arranging flowers, but fruit is different matter. I can do it. The laptop case is so pretty and I just ordered it in a larger size. Also love the galette … somehow less intimating to make than a full pie crust. Adding Disney screen saver to Jim’s To-Do List. Your living room look amazing, by the way! xo
It’s looking so beautiful, not surprisingly. I’m about to get that daybed for our office/guest room, but I am curious as to whether it’s comfortable or not? We’ve been through about four different uncomfortable options for guests; just don’t want to get it wrong (again)!
Your dinner looks absolutely delicious! I wonder if I would be capable of fixing that galette? The peaches and apricots are so delicious right now. I am going to make that salad! Can’t wait to see the rest of your room!
You could totally make the galette, Cindy…and it makes the house smell great.
Mary Ann! I’m loving see more of your new home! The table setting with peaches, apricots and those Cayman glasses is so lovely!
What a great Tommy had for the TV! It does look like art! Ans I need a new laptop cover! You’re right, it’s something we use every day!!! Why not make it pretty for $19!!?
xoxo

Your home is really coming together. Your summer meal looks delicious. I love the computer jacket, but my laptop is a pc. Hopefully, sometime in the not-too-distant future they’ll over something like what you were able to buy for your mac.
Karen B.
I love your knew home! I’m really enjoying following all your progress on making comfortable and beautiful. Can you share the color you chose to paint the walls with me. They feel so warm
Thank you
Joan
Everything looks beautiful.
Enjoy your day at the baby shower, a wonderful day to remember and treasure. Your mother is with you in
spirit.
P.S. Meant to say I have made a few peach and apricots galettes.. This looks so good!
Mary Ann love your dining room. That color is lovely with the tree and everything! You look adorable making that peach Galette! Are those Caddis glasses? So cute on you. Great idea from Tommy on the tv too! xo
The eyeglasses are from Anthro. I need to check out Caddis, Kim.
This was a beautiful post, I saved all 5!
Thanks, Gayle! You are so sweet.
