Fun and Easy Ways to Address Your Holiday Cards

Annie from Most Lovely Things shows (with a video!) how she addresses her Christmas cards.  She was inspired by her address labels.

Which got me thinking about addressing our cards this year.
Here is what I came up with based on our card’s typeface font.
First, I outlined a gift tag from Target
(you can make a template from heavier stock paper if you don’t have a gift tag like this)
on a envelope.

And then free handed the outline again…for that “home-made” look.  And added a little red marker ink for some punch.  Easy.  Even a little uneven–makes it fun.

Here is another quick way to address cards (from last year)…
just write the last name with a Sharpie in big letters in another color.
I do about 10 to 15 cards a day–not a huge chore that way especially listening to music or watching television.  Like wrapping gifts–I sort of enjoy it.

We got the heavy stock cards from Tiny Prints this year.
This photo was taken in my brother and sister-in-law’s “backyard” in the desert at Thanksgiving.
Look what is practically in my “backyard” (another out for a walk shot)…
