Five Good Things for Now And Labor Day

Yesterday, I was glued to the television feeling my heart ache for all the people involved with the natural disaster in Texas.  It’s scary but  heartwarming to see Americans pulling together.
How To Help Hurricane Harvey Storm Victims.
God bless them.

Ahhh…I don’t want the summer to end.  But Fall is lovely in San Francisco.  Less fog and more sunshine.

It’s a good time to exfoliate your skin on your arms, legs, hands and feet.  I like Fresh Brown Sugar Scrub, but it can get costly.  So, I made my own EASY version with…

2/3 cup softened Trader Joe’s Organic Coconut Oil and 2/3 cup Organic Brown Sugar.  I blended it together in my mini food processor.  When it starts to thicken, stir again and pour into a jar.

Our friend, Tori made the most amazing coffee table book of our “once in a lifetime” Sicily trip.

I am just finishing (I need to get the sequel).
And they are ca-raaazzee rich…like you can’t even imagine unless you are a bazillionaire.
So, it’s fun to enter their world.

We will be in San Diego this weekend
with my mom and sister and I want to make
She serves it with toasted baguette slices
and olives and Rosé…
