Colorful Flea Market Accessories

Have you checked out your local flea market lately?  Yesterday, my daughter, her friend and I went to the Treasure Island Flea Market.  Here are some things that caught my eye.

These Fouta towels from Tunsia are fun…

The industrial benches were being unloaded…see how you can choose your bench cover from vintage cloth.

I like the idea of framing antique/vintage maps that have meaning to you.

Get this…you can buy a “happy hour two for one mai tai” before noon.  Do they have that at YOUR flea market?  I had an iced coffee instead.

They sell these recycled jars with or without blooms or

succulents.

The Treasure Island Flea is pet friendly… Chief got a free dog biscuit.

So, what came home with me?
This vintage Chinese box for $20.  It may get moved around later.

And on impulse… I bought this rose quartz for $10…I didn’t know why.
Later, my daughter looked up the meaning of Rose Quartz online:
“This stone of unconditional love that opens the heart chakra to all forms of love: self-love, family love, platonic love, and romantic love…Bringing love in to life and daily situations not only brings inner warmth, but it also lowers stress and soothes those around it”.

So that’s why that rock called my name (and it will be a reminder of a fun day).
Thanks for visiting.
