Thank you to everyone who has mentioned that they appreciate these quick little “uplifting” posts. I want to share with you five good things like…
Target Fashion
Check out how Cindy styled this t-shirt dress from Target in five different ways! She is so darling. Cindy’s chic, over 50 fashion always inspires me!
Speaking of Target, I love this orange linen top. It feels more expensive than the price of $19.99. It’s a nice weight and it comes in white, olive and stripes, too.
I need that straw hat from Target more than ever to cover my roots!!
You can bend the brim if you want it to look more like a cowboy hat. Woe is me as by the time I get into my hairstylist (if the restrictions are lifted) it will have been over three months since my last appointment.
The embroidered blouse is from Anthropologie.
By the way, did you see my recent post regarding My New Target Home Accessories? I am so happy with them.
St. Frank: contemporary handmade, vintage, & printed pieces
Are you familiar with the brand St. Frank? I really like their ethnic prints like this cell phone case.
And I bought this doggie bandana for my daughter’s new puppy.

12 Books That Will Give You A Travel Escape
Even though our travel plans are canceled, we can get away in a book! Read this post by The Every Girl.
I think I will buy this book “Only In Spain” since we can’t actually go there on our summer vacation now.
Reenergize On Your Midday Break
I notice that my husband gets up from his desk several times a day to walk around the block (past Lombard Street above). He has lost weight during this pandemic!
When our son, Tommy was here, he always left his work area, made a nice little lunch (usually for me too), and relaxed for at least 30 minutes.
Camille Styles has more ways to re-energize on your midday break.
And those are Five Good Things Right now!

I didn’t realize you were that close to Lombard Street. When my husband and I were there a few years ago we walked there from our hotel and took the trolley back. That was quite a workout!
Awhile ago I purchased a couple framed woodblock prints at an estate sale. They were by an Asian artist from the turn of the century and had silk mats and non glare glass…worth way more than the $25 I paid. The frames were old and not attractive but reframing is so expensive! My husband said why don’t you spray paint them black! I thought why not? I have to say they came out beautiful! Used a 2X Painters Touch by Rustoleum. Sometimes it pays to listen to your significant other. :o)

You look darling in that Target top. I am going to check out that white number from Anthropologie, it looks like fun. Thanks for the mention. I do love that black dress!
Mary Ann Pickett says
I hope you can still find the Anthro top in your size! I got it when everything was on sale.
Connie says
You look great, as does Cindy. I may be inspired to change out of my black leggings and various exercise tops!
Sorry your trip to Spain is off. We were booked on an Alaskan cruise with another couple in June on Regent Seven Seas, but it’s cancelled which is fine with me. It may be a long time before I book another cruise, but I do hope we all can resume some form of safe travel soon. Best to you.

Mary Ann,
I should try walking around the block when I’m hungry. Haha. I’ve been walking a great park nearby every day and it’s saved my sanity. It’s filled with trees and rolling green hills.
Summer is nearly here and I could use a few wardrobe items to spruce thing up for the season…although I hope to have some get-togethers sometime soon, that would be nice.

Thanks for today’s post. I was all set to buy the Anthropologie blouse but most sizes were sold out already.
I’m with you. I’m about ready to trim my hair. It’s been since February since my last appointment. My next scheduled appointment got cancelled. You look good in your hat.
I admire your cross necklace. Can you give a link to it. Thanks.
Mary Ann Pickett says
The silver cross was bought on vacation in Mexico, sorry. I think Anthro has a similar top still just not embroidered. I got mine when they had a 30% off sale. That’s probably why there are so few left. Try the Target top…it looks nice in white.

I just bought the linen top from Target in white and coral! Thanks. Heading over to see Cindy’s dress.
