Casual Women’s Jackets To Add Polish For Spring
Here are casual women’s jackets to add a little warmth and polish to your Spring wardrobe. Some of these, like a white denim jacket, you may already have in your closet and others may be all you need to give older outfits a lift. Just mix up what you already own. Also, a fresh tee-shirt is an easy way to refresh an outfit with minimal investment.
Today, I am joining stylish friends, Annie, Cindy, Susan and Noelani with their spot-on takes on stylish Spring jackets. Their links are at the end of the post.
Women’s Casual Jackets To Add Polish
Jackets are a great way to finish your look. I like mine to not be too structured and more comfortable. If it’s stiff or tight, I won’t wear it as much.
The “Chore” Jacket for An Everyday Look
This soft unlined suede lighter weight jacket by Sézane is getting a lot of use in California (on our last trip) and here in Florida.

I like that my Quince sunglasses are polarized. The tassled suede flats are by Birdies.

The white boot cut jeans are by J. Crew. Did you see how J. Crew is having their Spring Event where most everything is 40% off?

The Cropped Short Sleeved Sweater Jacket For Running Errands
This cropped sweater jacket (41% off for a limited time) comes in four colors.

I was admiring the black eyelet skirt (in classic and petite sizes) at Ann Taylor and remembered that I had one at home! It’s paired it with a graphic tee, Panama hat and flat sandals for a little local shopping.
I just started using Jergen’s Natural Glow self tanner again on my legs for Spring.
Red Sweater With Pants — Easy Comfort

Here I am wearing the red sweater (size small) as a top with $50 Quince jeans, the Quince Italian leather crossbody purse and comfy sandals (that have walked all over European cobblestone streets).
The Classic White Jean Jacket For Brunch
You probably have a white jeans jacket but if you don’t, this is a nice one from Loft with high-quality materials and it has a 30% discount.

I’m wearing it with a graphic tee (on sale), Mother flare jeans (my favorite but pricey), old espadrille sandals and classic sunglasses.
Four Season Stretch J. Crew Neutral Blazer
A basic for any wardrobe…I sized up in this blazer (8P) as I wanted it to be comfortable. I usually size up with Petites since many times they are smaller all over not just in length. But a size 6P might look more stylish. What do you think?

This is a more casual look with a baseball cap, cropped white jeans (on sale now), denim shirt and Adidas sneakers.
It can also be dressed up with a Floral Cotton Skirt, a purchase that I wore to my grandson’s baptism in Southern California.

(My hands look like my mom’s….I miss her, so does Chief).
Fresh Graphic Tee-Shirts For Lightweight Options
Above are some cute tees to freshen up your wardrobe…on sale or from Target.
I can’t wait to see what my friends recommend…

Mary, you look fabulous in all of your outfits! I love the red jacket on you!
I haven’t used Jergens tanner in years! I think I will get some!
HAve a wonderful and blessed Easter.
Good choices and you looked great in them all. Thank you for all the ideas. Take care.
Thanks!! Use what you have 🙂
Love this post I bought the floral skirt and would have never thought of wearing it with a blazer.♥️ What size is your red sweater jacket and the bon voyage T? You look great in all the outfits., Love the loafers too.
All small. Thanks!
Mary Ann, The 8P four season is just right and looks stunning on you in both outfits. And, you always who rock baseball hats.!
Thanks for getting me in the mood for spring while the rains pour down in the PNW.
Hugs from Mercer Island,
Diney
Thanks, Diney!!
I like all of these outfits! The red sweater with the black skirt is flattering. I’m petite also, but I don’t wear skirts often, because I think I look dumpy. But you look adorable! So cute! Perhaps I shouldn’t comment, but you look like you lost weight. Either way, you look great!
Thanks, Lynne, I have lost a few lbs. I bet you would look great in a skirt.
I love the layered look and have somewhat of an obsession with jackets. These are all done well. You look great in short skirts…something we cannot all say.
I wouldn’t say my legs look great up close! But it’s hot here and they look better than shorts on me!
I love that red J. Crew jacket on you…maybe I need to experiment with red!
Thanks, Jennifer. It’s 40% off!
Lucky me…I have a suede jacket ( lined) so like the one you are showing, bought from a consignment shop years ago. I will have another look at pairing it with your ideas, Mary Ann, rather than my usual fall colours. Here, in coastal BC it can be rather wet, so suede stays in the closet often. I also have a short cream knit jacket , so like the red one you wear so well, that needs some love…ie pairing it with different spring items. I will carve out some time soon to have fun creating new ways to wear somewhat forgotten favourites, without spending a penny.
British Columbia is so beautiful!! We got that magazine growing up as a gift from cousins who lived there. So nice to shop your own closet!
“Beautiful British Columbia” …yes, I know the magazine well. We welcome Americans coming to visit, and it’s much easier than a European trip if wanting something different. Vancouver Island, where I live, has so much to offer. Beaches everywhere, including world class surfing, walks through old growth forests, amazing seafood, abundant artistic creativity, and small cities and towns with ferry access directly from Washington State. No, I’m not in the industry! I did just return from a trip in Europe and many Americans I met were so keen to discover more, especially if they’ve previously visited Victoria BC. A Nanaimo fellow went on-line and invited Americans to visit his city and beyond , and the response was beyond amazing. We are a friendly bunch…we just ask for respect.
We just went to the Canada pavilion at Epcot las weekend and it made me tear up about the “lack of respect” some Americans (one) are giving Canada. My mom grew up in Ontario. And we spent a few summers there as kids. It’s a great country, Cath!!
Mary Ann, you look darling in every one of these looks! I just ordered that Sezane jacket in linen. I hope I ordered the right size! Love that black skirt, red jacket, and graphic tee It’s so good!!
I love that jacket, Cindy!
These are all fabulous looks Mary Ann! I love the Will Suede, too, and it looks great with the white denim and loafers! Really great outfits! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mary Ann, it was such fun exploring Paris with you and Annie last fall! I love that Sezane suede jacket, and the cropped sweater jacket is so cute.
Great suggestions! FYI…Amazon has a great dupe for the Starla Dolce Vita.
REALLY? Have you tried them?
“Cool!!” franki
Mary Ann! I love that short sleeve red sweater! And I didn’t know you got the Will jacket in suede too’ it looks so good! Love your suggestions!
