A Birthday Party in England!
Lisa and Jim have invited us to stay with them at their
home in Surrey, England for Lisa’s birthday.
This is their house that they recently built
on the River. Here you can see the back of the house and the boat house.
I took these photos when I was there last
and Lisa and I were out for a walk.
Lisa and my sister (who is also coming) were college room-mates and Lisa and I became good friends when we lived in Orlando and our boys were little.
There’s an unconfirmed report that the Duchess of Cambridge
(Kate Middleton) will also be at the party.
Or perhaps its just a bunch of people wearing
shoes like hers…

Mary Ann, Hope you guys have a fabulous trip – your friend's home is GORGEOUS!! I loved the party invitation too – although I definitely would not be in those shoes – anything over about an inch and I topple 🙁 – never managed to learn how to walk in high heels – wish I did because those shoes are too cute!! Can't wait to see pics of the soiree!!!

Well that is a gorgeous home and it sounds like it will be an amzaing party Mary Ann…what party frock will you wear? Love those shoes, and yes Kate does wear them a lot, probably because they are awesome.

I've been following your blog for a while now, love your decorating. I got such a kick out of seeing the party invitation. Not just the party frocks and carriages but the address of the house. When I was child (late 60's) my dad's job moved us to England. We lived in Weybridge and I went to Cleves School, near the Walton train station. The last time I was back was in 2005. I think I need another trip over.
