On Saturday, I enjoyed some Beach Home Tours in Atlantic Beach (a part of Jacksonville, Florida). This is for you if you simply appreciate beautiful architecture, home decor and a coastal lifestyle.
The Annual Beaches Tour Of Homes is manned by volunteers. Tickets were sold online and proceeds support the Beaches Town Center’s projects.
It was a nice day and I rode my bicycle to several of the private homes on the tour. Here are my highlights, including an exceptional oceanfront beach house at the end.
Beach Home Tour — Golf Course
This modern coastal home overlooks the Atlantic Beach Golf course and is in a new, planned, charming community. In fact, soon I will show you all the different coastal exteriors in the neighborhood.
The living room and kitchen use neutral, sand colors. Beyond the deck and pool is the golf course.
This little beach style bunk room makes a cozy use of space for kids.
Beach Tour of Homes — Coastal Style Restored Cottage
I overheard the owner say that they tried to keep much of the original home’s charm.
These are pretty built-ins in the laundry room and notice the beaded board ceiling.
Beach Home Tour — Oceanfront
This is a lovely home with several views of the ocean. I heard that the decorating was done by Phoebe Howard. Here’s what you see after you enter the front door.
Lots of shades of white, and semi-gloss paint on the walls and probably some original beams. The cool coffee table softens some of the angles.
Someone said that this home recently sold for $9 million and the owners are moving to another great beach property.
This is the neutral family room with modern light fixture.
This chest and mirror make a nice focal point at the end of the hall.
The sweet little girls room has a view of the surf.
I’ve always admired this Galbraith and Paul wallpaper.
This is a fun boy’s room in red, white and blue.
The softly neutral primary bedroom has expansive water views.
This primary bathroom is timeless.
This is the living room in the guest house.
I hope these beach home virtual tours left you with some inspiration!
On Thursday, I’m joining some friends for blog posts on ways to cozy up your bedrooms. I’m showing our new guest room.

Loved all of these, if we weren’t so old we would consider a move there. Miami Beach very busy!

Oh my! They’re all fabulous!! I would love to be a guest in any of them. Out of my price range for ownership unfortunately. But one can dream. Love all the bead board ceilings, walls and cabinets. The little girls and boy rooms are charming.

These are so beautiful!! Lots of inspiration for sure! Any ideas on where the entryway light fixture in the house that was decorated by Phoebe Howard is from? The glass one that looks like an upside down flower. It is beautiful!!!
Mary Ann Pickett says
No…but I loved it too!
