The good thing about renting an apartment in Madri

The good thing about renting an apartment in Madrid is that you can invite your son-in-law’s local family over for dinner. And they did most of the cooking including a version of paella with pasta and a cheesy puff pastry. Both grandpas got to love on Louisa! Futbol was muted on the television and Spanish music was on. There was a 75/25 mix of English/Spanish conversation going on and we appreciated the Spaniards patience with our Spanglish and lack of enough silverware and wine glasses. But it was all bueno.
