Usually we stay in a hotel in Paris. But the last time, we rented an apartment and it was a disaster. It was filthy, the bed linens were thread bare, the washing machine broke and I thought I heard mice. How come the place with the view of the Eiffel Tower had looked so good online? We spent one night in the gross apartment and then my husband booked us into a charmingly designed boutique hotel across the street from where we used to live. Vacation saved!
So, I was hesitant to rent an apartment again until I found the Haven In Paris blog.

Howard just went jogging in Parc Monceau and brought back
pains au chocolat, croissants and butter with sea salt crystals.
I just heard my sister say,” this is such a cute place.” Time to go make some French Roast coffee.
Oh…and last night (our first night here)…
Our favorite Italian restaurant on Place des Ternes (Tommy and Aunt TC). They have
delicious carpaccio, wood fired pizzas and spaghetti vongole.
