“New Classic” Beach Kitchen Part Two

Isn’t this a pretty black and white marble threshold into Debbie’s kitchen?

Notice how the circular motif is repeated in the pocket leaded glass doors
that lead into the family room.
I like how Debbie has glass on both sides of this china cabinet.
We can easily see and enjoy the pottery pieces that she uses every day.
As room-mates in college and again in Laguna Beach, Ca after we graduated,
Debbie was collecting blue and white pottery even then.

This little alcove puts the double ovens out of direct view.
There is a desk and cookbook library in here.
Such a pretty kitchen…

  14. OMG! Everything is perfect! The leaded glass, the see through cabinets, the alcove, the bead board ceiling…her blue and white collection! Heavenly! Oh, and the Dutch door! True love!

    This is a great use of space and love all the light that comes in. Debby's kitchen space is really well thought out love the space for desk too. Blue and white is true to many hearts mine included. Great post!

  22. I love Debbie's home and the dutch door I want! There are so many details that I like. I would love to see those blue chairs that are in the family room. She also is very creative with her pictures.

The leaded glass with the circular pattern, the hardware on her dutch door, her desk in a little out of the way area, the paintings and her kitchen floor. I'm so happy you showed more of the floor and the house. It is so beautiful. Her outside space is gorgeous too…what's not to love??? you girls have wonderful style.

  27. What a gorgeous kitchen! I love how the curves of the leaded glass door were echoed in the marble threshold! Ingenius! Love her baking nook! I can see pies cooling on the counter in the nook out of the way of little fingers. I love the contrast between the white cabs and the dark floors and counters! I love it all! Thanks for sharing.
