Are there certain makeup items that you don’t want to run out of? I’m listing my essential cosmetics on sale as I’m going to take advantage of the Sephora Spring Event. These are the things that make me nervous when I run low.
And for my other Faves with Annie and Cindy, I am showing what to watch on television, Airbnb castles, a wonderful scented candle and cool outdoor chairs.
1. 17 Castles You Can Book On AirBnb
After watching the second season of Bridgerton (guilty pleasure), I found this article dreamy! They feature castles from Scotland to Italy.

2. What To Watch – “Coda”
We really enjoyed this sweet film that sheds light on deaf families. It won three Oscars and is in theaters but we watched it at home on Apple TV.
“Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family from Gloucester, Massachusetts. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. But in joining her high school’s choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing.”
3. A Luxe Scented Candle
When stuck for a gift in a hurry, you can’t go wrong with a Jo Malone candle. There are so many wonderful scents and they wrap them beautifully. I’ve given the Lime Basil and Mandarin Scent before and on Friday brought the English Pear and Freesia as a hostess gift for a dinner party.

It takes bravery to host a dinner party after so many long months of separation. I’m a little rusty myself! But on Thursday we will be showing Spring Brunches (and one I gave recently with my daughter for our cousins).
4. Outdoor Chairs (Cindy has done the research for us)
If you are in the market for outdoor dining chairs, it’s a good idea to revisit Cindy’s post. There are these below with sources and more!

5. Sephora Spring Event – Time to Buy Essential Cosmetics
From April 1–11, tier shoppers can stock up on beauty items with promo code SAVESPRING.* Rouge members get 20% off starting April 1, VIB members (I’m at this level based on spending) get 15% off starting April 5, and Insiders (free to join) get 10% off starting April 7.
I’m putting most of these in my cart for purchase in a couple of days.

Benefit eyebrow pencil (so easy to use and its waterproof) • Tatcha Skin Creme (my cousin with beautiful skin got me hooked on this) • CEO Glow with Vitamin C (it does give my skin a nice glow) • Multi-use concealer • My favorite mascara • Lip pigment in American Woman shade (stays on for a long time, which is nice as with age my lips have lost color) • Sephora Brand face powder (only $20) • Fancy red lipstick (refillable) • Eye shadow (I don’t always take the time to apply eye shadow…but I love these neutral shades when I do).
If you are new here, each Sunday I share my top five favorite things along with my friends, Cindy and Annie. It’s like our weekly “catch-up” phone call. If you would like to receive this series every week, please sign up HERE.
Let’s see what Annie and Cindy’s Five Faves are this week:
MaryAnn love all your choices at Sephora! I am ordering that eye shadow palette. Thank you! Coda is on my list and I want to book a castle too! Always love your Sunday posts so much. xo
P.S I have not been able to get into Bridgerton. I wonder what’s wrong with me. I normally love those kind of dramas. Coda was fabulous!
Thanks pal for including my favorite outdoor chairs. I need to try that Sunday Riley glo. I am going to order it right now! Always love your Sunday faves!
Booking a castle ASAP. Haven’t watched Bridgerton yet … what’s wrong with me? CODA’s also on my list. A Sephora sale … woo hoo! I love the Naked 2 palette also. Better order a back up now that I’m going places and wearing makeup again!!! Great stuff, as usual! xo
Mary Ann!
That first “castle” looks like the place you stayed in Provence a few years ago! And those outdoor chic chairs that you (and Cindy) rounded up look anything but cheap! So much good outdoor furniture out there these days!
xx
Hi Mary Ann, you better get down to Newport Beach.
Your friend Kelly ,owner of Blu Canoe, moved her location on Balboa Island to the old fire station.
Worth a trip, looks great and so many lovely things to buy. A real asset to the Island.
You know I want to, Mary Ann!!!
Thanks, Mary Ann, always good information. Have a wonderful Spring.
xo,
Karen B.
So much fun thank you Mary Anne!
Loved those stately homes in Bridgerton and all the wisteria!
Happy Sunday 🙂
Yes, and the costumes too!

Good to know Karen, I’ve never shopped on QVC!
