We had a small dinner party at home last night
using local ingredients.
The table was simply set with tulips from the grocery store, textured linens and pinecones grabbed
from the side table.
I cut the orange segments for
the salad like this.
We just have to go about four blocks to
Fisherman’s Wharf to pick up fresh crab.
This store stocks fish straight off the
boats docked behind it.
It is run by two sisters, who are friendly
and efficient.
We’ve ordered cooked, cracked crab
(which is fun to finish shelling yourself at the table)
but for this recipe,
I ordered lump crab meat…talk about easy.
I doubled the amount of crab in the recipe.
I was too busy having fun to get any food shots but everyone seemed to enjoy the dinner.
Many heartfelt thanks to you clients that took the time to write a review of my work on HOUZZ. I really appreciate it.
I hope you enjoy time spent with your family
(like I am) this holiday season!
