West Elm & “It’s Overflowing”

November 15, 2012 By Mary Ann Pickett 20 Comments

Living in Orange County meant that I had to go to Los Angeles or San Diego (an hour north or south) to go to West Elm…but we just had one open near us!

I like the prices here.

They are selling goods from local artisans.

Get yourself some glimmer.

These are pretty candle holders.

Gold AND silver…
I might need to wear sunglasses
at this table 🙂

West Elm also carries monogrammed guest towels…you can find lots more monogrammed ideas in my guest post for HOUZZ.

Great gifts!

Anyway, I’m glad to have a West Elm in the area!

Today, I am giving our whole home tour at

It’s Overflowing.
Even if you have seen my house before, you should check out the other fun stuff going on there, such as… Photography Tips (which I really need) and an Easy Way To Hang Art.

Thanks for being here!

I was supposed to go to their grand opening / wine soiree and then couldn't … but walked by the store earlier in the day and saw them setting up … it killed me. Can you believe I still haven't been able to make it by there? I am thrilled I will not have to trek up to Santa Monica any longer!

That is so great…what a beautiful store! I can understand your excitement because I was just at the Fashion Valley mall here in San Diego this week and noticed they are opening a C. Wonder store this month. As you probably already knew, their store in Newport Beach was the only one in California until now!

Hurray! Another reason to venture down south, to check out the new West Elm. Though we do have 2 in L.A. they still aren't that close to me and the Crystal Court store looks like a reallllly nice one! Love the blue and aqua glass in the first picture.

West Elm opened here just two months ago…. and I'm headed to that mall again this weekend! Love it… And then Pottery Barn and Anthropologie are just a few steps away. Dangerous!
    Have a nice weekend!

West Elm is one of those stores that goes in spurts for me. Sometimes I will go in and love everything, and other times I have a hard time finding what I am looking for. They are still a great store, especially if you favor contemporary styles. – Tonya

Yay West Elm in OC! Very happy for you Mary Ann. I was just at the LA store on Sunday…it's definitely one of my favorites. Love all their stuff and great prices. I bought a couple more pillows which I definitely don't need (I'm moving in two weeks…really need more pillows!). And we stopped off at Rolling Greens Nursery…it was a great shopping day!

Going over to check you out on It's Overflowing. Have a good one Mary Ann.
