Just north of where I live in San Francisco is the bayside town of Sausalito, the home to the corporate headquarters of Serena and Lily. The founders, Lily Kanter and Serena Dugan, deliver designs with a “California casual” point of view. So it’s no surprise that I love their “look” and own many of their products.

Bedroom
I love the quality feel of these Serena and Lily quilts. The Cambria quilt is soft cotton and the Sutter linen quilt has a great texture. Both come in other colors. Since Chief sleeps on top of these…they get washed often and still look good.
The Rope X Bench
My client, Melba and I both have them. They are versatile (nice at the foot of your bed, too), neutral and add texture.
Lighting
I’m loving my Serena and Lily desk lamp. Serena and Lily has lots of stylish lighting.
Pillows and Rugs
Their pillows are well-made like the little blue linen lumbar with leather trim. And the Ryder denim and wool rug feels great under my feet! It comes in different sizes.
Accessories
I’m only 5’1″ so this cute but sturdy step stool has made getting dishes down from the higher shelves a breeze! I like that I can leave it out.
This capiz shell hurricane hides a battery-operated candle…making it seem realistic.
After I bought those white candlesticks, I cleaned the whole living room and restyled the mantel!

Fun
On Sunday, Howard and I saw the Downton Abbey movie. Lots of subplots. Loved it!
Have you been to one of the deluxe theatres with the reclining seats? It’s ruined me for a regular seat now.
