Every December, the Christmas Boat Parade lights up the Newport Beach harbor
for five consecutive nights.
There are all sizes of vessels from multi-million dollar yachts, to electric boats and kayaks.
Last night, we had a great view of the parade from Cindy’s and Jim’s home
decorated for “Christmas at the Beach.”
decorated for “Christmas at the Beach.”
FUN in spite of the drizzle…
thanks in part to Cindy’s Glühwein (recipe here)…German for “Glow Wine”.
Merry Christmas,
Mary Ann

This is beautiful! Thank you.. I love Christmas and I love your view. 🙂
Wonderful Christmas at the beach! Thanks for sharing! Have a great Holiday! Lulu
Found you over at La Dolfina, and your banner had me at first sight! These boats are fantastic, as much as I love New England during Christmas, I think seeing these boats win!
What a fun and beautiful event. And your friends' home is lovely!!
Those Parade of Lights boat shows are just magical. Lucky you, though, to enjoy them where it's warm. On my coast we've shivered through many frigid December nights to enjoy the light shows in Annapolis and Kent Narrows, MD. Pretty and fun–but cold!
Would love to see all of the boats. Just gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing.

Loving the sparkle deer ornament on the gift…so festive!!
Mary Ann: Nice to meet you! Thanks for visiting..I love your blog! Your comment about your daughter hit home: yes, it is so important to know they are doing well, happy, and like their work! Mine is in D.C., so now we are closer to her which is wonderful. She arrives tomorrow for a week!
You lived in Paris? A dream come true! We hope, once we get settled here, to go for a month at a time…we will see..
This is Magical! Isn't it?
Beautiful things like these are the things that are registered in our memories that we always bring with us. This is a little part of your Christmas and I'm glad you're sharing with us.
Thank you so much for your comment today, Mary Ann. It's so nice you also teach your kids about complimenting people. It's a gift you're giving to them and the ones they'll meet.
Merry Christmas!!!!

Hi Mary Ann:
It was so nice of you to visit Always, Robins Egg Blue. I love your post on boats on the water at Christmas time. San Francisco is one of my very favorite places in the world. You are even newer to blogging than I am. It is the most rewarding 'places' I have been in a long time. It all takes time and practice and I learn something every day. Welcome! Merry Christmas Mary Ann….
Thankyou so much for visiting my blog and becoming a follower, enabling me to find you and become a follower of your inspirational blog. Have a great week!
My very BF has a home on the water and they have the same kind of parade each year. It is a sight to behold, the lights dancing on the water are amazing. It was so nice to see you on my blog. The biscotti is addictive I am pre-warning you. Just because they are small it is so easy to keep eating and eating, trust me been there done that!! Have a wonderful week,Kathysue
That is SO awesome! Living in Minnesota, I don't see a lot of yachts decorated for Christmas. 🙂 Thanks for sharing the photos. Hope you had a good weekend…
