On Sunday, we celebrated my mom’s 90th birthday.
We tied up 90 balloons (took three small SUV car loads, in case you are interested).
It was a gorgeous day in San Diego…but we really do need rain over the whole state.
Got to have a piñata at a fiesta.
Our daughter, Alexandra followed this video to make paper flowers for the tables.
Have you heard about Taco Trucks that set up in your garden and cook a Mexican feast for you? It may be a Southern California thing. Our guy, Rolando (email address: [email protected]) was amazing! I forgot to take photos but he cooked and set up a delicious and reasonably priced buffet that fed 70 of us.
Mom is on the left with her two best friends.
We toasted s’mores over the fire pit for dessert
(after birthday cake!).
Thanks to all of you who travelled so far to celebrate with us.
We love you.
