Last weekend, we attended Brooke and Andy’s wedding ceremony in Laguna Beach, California.
At the reception in nearby Dana Point, we were greeted by mariachis over looking the Pacific Ocean…setting the Old California tone.
These branches, as we entered, were for hanging personal messages to the newlyweds.
Baskets held glass floats with the table placements.
Then, we had this amazing view for cocktails.
Isn’t this a pretty little seating area?
Thoughtful touches like childhood photographs of the couple were displayed.
It was such an elegant setting but so relaxed, as well.
My great grandmother, grandmother, parents and I were born in Southern California.
We grew up with outdoor elements like citrus, roses, eucalyptus, succulents, and of course, the Pacific ocean.
Notice the Mexican terra-cotta tiles as chargers and the personalized place cards.

Isn’t Brooke lovely?
They had a great band and I danced a lot. In the morning my feet felt like Barbie doll feet from my high heels.
What a fun dessert table.
Such a beautiful, happy occasion.
Thank you Laura and Jack for inviting us!
