Hello! So glad you are here. Today, I am showing how to set a charming table with one bunch of flowers from the grocery store. Using one type of flower makes it easy to simply set a pretty table! And you get some bang for your buck!
There are lots more ideas for you using flowers from the grocery store by other bloggers with links at the end of the post!
Charming Table Arrangement With One Bunch Of Flowers
Bottle Collection
I have been collecting old bottles at flea markets and I recently bought three larger matching ones at Sonoma Country Antiques. But you could use any washed bottles and jars… like from salad dressing, barbecue sauce, wine, mustard. Etsy is also a good place to look for old bottles. Or Target has some colorful ones.
The trick is to use several and divide your flowers amongst three of the bottles and leave the others for decoration.
Thin Stemmed Flowers in Different Heights
I used one bunch of lisianthus flowers divided equally. You could use any narrow stemmed flower such as daisies, spray roses, mini carnations, chamomile, daffodils. Whatever looks good in the grocery store.
Setting the Table
I love using wicker placemats for their texture.
I don’t iron the linen napkins. I just smooth them out damp from the dryer. The white glass from Pottery Barn (on clearance) is used for water. The recycled pineapple glass is used as a casual wine glass.

Hi Mary Ann,
So pretty! I enjoy setting a nice table and we almost always use cloth napkins, I have so many it’s become a bit of a storage issue. I like having options!
The lisanthus are so delicate looking, and such soft colors, perfect on your table.
Wonder if it’s scorching in the city today?
XO Heidi

What a beautiful setting, all those pretty shades of Caribbean blue look gorgeous on your new dark wood table. I love how you used the bottles with flowers for the centerpiece and the rattan placemats add to the island feel.

Great post and cute idea…I think I mentioned before I bought some store bought flowers (including a cheap orchid plant) for my daughter’s baby shower to make arrangements. It’s insane what florists charge!! It’s really not that hard to do.
Haha I just bought those white PB glasses and some of the larger ones as well. Arriving today actually! :o)

Lovely.
Thanks for pointing out how easy it is to care for cloth napkins.
Our family uses cloth. So much better than paper. I enjoy caring for them, seeing how they enhance the table setting, and using them with my meal. One hundred.percent (100 %) is the best. Amazon sells them!
Where or what do I buy to find the pineapple glasses? Details. Please.
Keep doing what you do so well.

Thanks, Nan. I couldn’t find those little recycled pineapple glasses online anymore. I got them several years ago and we use them a lot…like for small servings of ice cream, etc. If/when I find something similar I will post about them. Yes, I do love cloth napkins!

What a clever idea to leave some of the bottles empty! I would have never thought of that. Love the mix of the clear and the green as well. So clever!!
