A French takeout feast!
Yesterday after a full day of running around Paris, our family of five went to La Grande Epicerie at Bon Marche. We each purchased things for dinner that we wanted like cheeses, olives, little sausages, carpaccio, pâté, rillets de porc,salads, melon and cherries, fresh bread, wine and macaroons.
I also picked up bright candles and paper napkins to set the table (naturally) in the apartment. There will be a recap of fun things to do in Paris on the blog on Thursday. Start planning your trip!

Where do you buy your fresh flowers? For me, since we are new here, it’s a local search. Our Publix flowers, although well priced didn’t last long. Trader Joe’s has fewer flowers than the one in SF. This double batch of tulips from @wholefoods is going strong for $20.

It’s been fun taking our things from the SF apar

It’s been fun taking our things from the SF apartment and figuring out where to put them here in Florida. This wall is in our main bedroom. The @anthropologie mirror and antique Paris prints were in our living room and the antique French bookcase was used as a buffet in our dining room. Our mattress is still on the floor while we wait for the custom upholstered bed frame. It’s going to take a while still. But Chief likes how easy it is to get on the bed!!
