Good morning! Let’s talk about pretty prints for your home and your pup! Also, the happy project that my daughter, Alexandra, and I have been working on, a cute Spring outfit to carry you right into summer, and a good television series.
It’s Five Faves time with Cindy and Annie!!
Rebecca Atwood for Pottery Barn
Have you seen the pretty prints for Rebecca Atwood’s collaboration with Pottery Barn? I love her fabric designs like these printed napkins that I gave Debbie for her birthday (along with these wicker placemats).

More about this girls’ trip to Santa Barbara, California, and this beach house we stayed in next week!
Darling Dog Accessories
Here’s my grandpuppy, Dolly. She ate one of my sandals last night (just repurchased), but isn’t she adorable? Her other grandmother, Francesca has outfitted her with this stylish wardrobe.
Lots of different patterns for every season, and Dolly can attest to their comfort and durability.

Spring Outfit Of The Week
When I saw these sandals below, they inspired this outfit. I really want the sweater in this color.
T-shirt • cashmere crew • Gucci belt • leopard scarf • white pants • chain bracelet • cross sandals • Warby Parker sunglasses • straw bag
What to Watch
Atlantic Crossing on PBS (we are watching it on Amazon Prime and recording future episodes). It’s interesting to watch the historical aspects and the royal relationships.
“A princess steals the heart of the president of the United States in an epic drama based on the World War II relationship of Franklin Roosevelt and Norwegian Crown Princess Martha. Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Sex and the City) stars as Roosevelt, opposite Swedish star Sofia Helin (The Bridge) as the beautiful Martha, who flees the Nazis with her three young children and lives under Roosevelt’s protection. The eight-part series co-stars Tobias Santelmann as Crown Prince Olav and Harriet Sansom Harris as First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.”
Wedding Planning With Minted.com
Some happy news! Yesterday, in Los Angeles, my daughter and I had a fun time reviewing the complimentary Minted.com customized sample invitations that we ordered. It’s so great as you can feel and see the weight of the different papers, the fonts, the colors, and much more in person! They also give you a free website.
The weather is gorgeous for my long drive today back to San Francisco. Those are pretty prints for your home and your pup! A cute Spring outfit to carry you right into summer and the fun process of customizing invitations with Minted.com.

Oh, MA … your blog’s going to send me to the poor house! The Rebecca Atwood collection is AMAZING and those gorgeous mugs, napkins and tray are on their way to Snowberry! Yay! Sweet, Dolly … she’s a good girl and was simply confused by what were obviously stunning – and delicious – sandals. Love your fashion collage … pinned and now I’m off to shop it. Jim recently installed security cameras and is now able to inform me of UPS arrivals. Uh oh. xo

Mary Ann,
I’m eager to watch Atlantic Crossing. I’ve just listened to the Masterpiece interview of Sophia Helin and Alexander Hik, who wrote the series. What a fun time you will enjoy with your daughter as she prepares for her wedding.
I always enjoy the Sunday Favs.
xo,
Karen

Good Sunday Morning to you Mary Ann,
I am watching Atlantic Crossing on PBS and so are two friends of mine. The casting for that show is terrific. I have read many books about WW2 but had never heard about whether Norway was neutral or not. The Nazi wanted the iron ore from Norway. I am so glad this story is being told but beware, I think Martha never had a romantic relationship with Roosevelt, even though he wanted one. Sometimes the truth is embellished to increase an audience. I am totally smitten with the Crown Prince Olaf. The actor who plays him is perfect. Their marriage is truly a love story. And the toddler, in the show, Harold is now King of Norway.

Thanks, Patricia for all this good info!!!

Wedding invitations how exciting! Does that indicate a date and a venue are in the works ?
Minted was recommended to a friend and they were so pleased with their beautiful invitations .
Can’t wait to watch the Atlantic Crossing , being 100% Norwegian and the first person on both
sides of my family to be born in America I love anything to do with the Norwegian Royal Family.
I had Princess Martha paper dolls growing up , thanks for sharing this .
