Tommy arrived at the airport at 9 pm (from school in Gainesville).
I wanted something warm and ready for his home-coming.
We used the frozen leftover Honey Baked Ham from Thanksgiving.
I added chopped spinach and kale just before
the milk/flour roux was stirred in…
making it a one dish meal and a little healthier
and garnished with chopped parsley.
I like the charm of our 1920’s apartment.
Notice the leaded glass window and crystal door knob?
The pink poinsettias are from Lowe’s and the
“doctored up” boxwood wreath is from Trader Joe’s.
