My family along with our friends from Florida are renting this beautiful modern home on Grand Guana Cay (pronounced Key). The above photograph was taken from the upstairs loggia. It gets great cross breezes.
The water in the Bahamas comprises every gorgeous color of blue.
Here is the living room downstairs that is open to the kitchen.
Looks neat for the moment but
with five families, here is the reality…
Jackie, a local chef, prepares fruit for lunch.
The kitchen has custom touches such as the walnut counter and this free standing open pantry (great for easily seeing everything you brought with you).
Notice the herringbone tiled floors.
We ate dinner on the stainless steel topped table with a water view.
The pool water stayed surprisingly cool in such a hot climate.
Here’s my glamorous friend, Netta.
Cheers!
